We need a video moderator to moderate the videos that are submitted to the video section.

The job would include watching the submitted videos and selecting whether they pass our approval requirements.


We need someone who is 18+, lives in the US (or is able to be online during US business hours), and has the ability to communicate over VoIP (specifically Mumble).

I would, but I can't communicate over VoIP. It would be fun to be a moderator or admin though.

I could do it, I turn 18 five months ago, and i can use Mumble and I'm in the us.

... won't say where I am, but I will be on during business hours, won't say age, but will be responsible. As probably everyone here, I can communicate over different VoIP services. And since I probably won't get the job, congrats and good luck to whoever does.

I usually watch the videos anyway. I am 38 years old and can do most any VoIP and am used to "rating" videos because my kids constantly want to watch Minecraft videos. I am back in school and am a stay at home dad so I have time to do it. Also my kids think it would be "awesome".

I would like to note that I work best when told what and how to do what I am to do, though I can imagine the obvious things like, no foul language, no obscenity, and probably above all no nudity.

I'm ALWAYS watching the videos on here and youtube, watch between here and youtube about 3-4 hours of it a day! Know what's original content or not.:) Love to help you guys. Im pretty laid back and find i would be a good choice.

I'm 22 years old, and can/will talk via Mumble.
I'm an amateur Video Creator/YouTuber, and love watching videos on the internet.
I've created quite a few websites from the ground-up, some of which are still going strong today. (this link is to my old RuneScape clan website, created in 2009)
I'm adept with the following languages; HTML, CSS, 'Default/Basic' BBCode
I'm an amateur in Java code.
I'm very aware of what the public views as good entertainment.
I've also got a serious long-term addition to Minecraft, and its community.

I'd really like to be a part of this machine known as Mojang>Minecraft, and would take great appreciation to being considered.

More than capable of being in during US hours. Currently operate as a co-lead for a mod team dubbed "SWR Productions" http://www.moddb.com/company/swr-productions we've created 3 highly rated/acclaimed modifications for Command and Conquer Generals and have been doing so for 5+ years (I'm known there as "Comr4de"). We've received multiple awards and have been in the top 100 for 4 years running. My fellow co-workers are spread through-ought the world such including the Netherlands, India, Russia, Brazil, the UK, Germany and so on, so you know we use such VoIP all the time. Knows English/Spanish both in writing and speech. Have also extensive knowledge in 2d/3d graphic design (3d modeling, texturing, web design, graphic design and so on) as well as some level design (Hammer/UT Editor -- but we wont be doing that will we? XD).

While I am able to easily review videos and comment on them I'm also able to create graphic artwork for said reviews (if it even calls for it) and most definitely able to moderate multiple forums if need be. Been using Invision Powered forums for years now and have been moderating under one of the administrators for our mod forums, keep clean from bots, spam, misdemeanor and shenanigans. All of these would fall great under video review as I have a great sense of keeping things "classy" or in other words: moderate and label works with language, tone, attitude, or pure inappropriate content worth of a mature/in-mature content.

Why would I want the job?
I've been playing Minecraft since Alpha 1.0.1 ( I THINK? It was during June or July I believe of last year). It was introduced to me by a friend and fell in love with it when I realized it was a game based on exploration and
survival as well as the construction of your own home/fortress-- whatever you wished! Been playing it ever since and have been spreading the word to many of my friends (who are now proud owners of minecraft as well!). Other reasonings for my interest in the job are simply to have my own contribution to the Minecraft community as I've been somewhat of a lurker and lurker only, but I love the game and would love to continue viewing the wonderful works of the community - be it good or bad.

I have been in development for 10 years and work from home meaning I am on the computer 12+ hours a day leaving me plenty of time to moderate videos.
I am a web developer by trade.

My name is Casey i live in Georgia and i'm on computers almost all day. I also make videos just for fun though. I still have a couple more months of school but i only got for 4 hours a day so i get home around 1:40 2pm. I can also use any voice server. Thanks for reading!

I can do it. I'm 22, live in the US, and can use a VoIP. I'm a disabled veteran(100%), and a musician, but I only play late at night, so the hours for that will not be a problem.
