Very cool :smile.gif: Looking forward to it. When you do make the update, when we are creating a new map, below the seed we should be able to click a bubble for either "adventure mode" or "creative mode". Adventure mode would be the npc villages and what not, and creative mode would basically be minecraft 1.7. Just a suggestion for the people who like building more then the adventure part :smile.gif:
I was ecited about this, however, I get "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect" even to just mojang.com. My connection usually sucks, but isn't too bad today. I have no trouble with anything else. Anyone else have this?

The quiver was added to items.png way back in Indev, though it has never had a use and Jeb has said he has no plans to add quivers. Although Notch has said he might.
The "bottle" is in fact not a bottle but shears, they will be used to harvest wool and leaves.
if you dont want npc villages in your world your stupid if its anything like millenaire it will be awesome except hopefully not french :D!!! and also i think instead of revealing part of 1.8 they should hurry up and give us pistons i cant wait for those but i just discovered this mod today on the yogscast called better than wolves mod if you took all the frankly mostly crap out about how wolves are stupid the mod IS SO AWESOME theres so much more stuff you can build and it all works smoothly :D! this would be a great addition to the vannilla and if they could take the wolf crap out and fit it in 2.0 THAT WOULD BE SO EPIC! I WOULD BE SO HAPPY ID RIDE A PIG!
there is no bottle, the item is called :shears, there the only tool to remove wool from sheep without hurting them, i read that also it will be the only way to get more than 1 wool from a sheep
I really hope something like premium wood gets added to the game, I would be happy with just the different colored planks for the current types of trees.

I'm not into the idea of NPC villages. Hopefully it's optional. I wouldn't want to have to take down a village just to build a bit.
