on a server, I was still able to successfully duplicate blocks with a redstone / piston system.

Also, do you have to have the redstone pointing at the piston? wont work for me any other way.

Is there any kind of rough estimate to when the server will be running again... what with the switch to 1.7?

I haven't noticed any problems in 1.7 at all in my save. Perhaps I'm just lucky?

how do we download minecraft 1.7?

if you have the bed issue, i found out its because of the texture pack you use, switch to default and you should notice the bed is fine, im not sure what notch did to the bed texture, looks like he moved the bed legs

I just updated yesterday to 1.7.1 on my server and the Star-gates Crash Java locks minecraft.exe.do a client restart to get back ingame with no support for the star-gates anymore makes things rough.Oh bye the way that means I updated craftbukkit.jar to 1.7.1

Hey if you look in the minecraft launcher it says at the bottem -removed Herobrine, but in 1.6.6 it said +removed herobrine.So since there is a double negetive Herobrine was added into 1.7!!!!!!!!!! im scared.

I have a single player block duplication machine, and I can say for sure the bug has NOT been fixed.


Soon as this is fixed, I see no issues updating servers, but making thousands of mossy cobble, diamond blocks, gold blocks etc ruins the game in multiplayer

The block duplication bug is not fixed ( I managed to duplicate sand blocks with sticky pistons )
I even made a machine that duplicated the sand blocks.

Note that was "fixed" in 1.6. As to how you got it to work in 1.6 is another story, you are not saying something here.

For me, Minecraft crashes as soon as I open it. I never had a problem until 1.7

This is so not a bossaroo. I am very upset considering 1.7 is the only update where I and my friend, Sly have had a huge problem. It seems that whenever either of us decide to (and I know it's insane to believe this should work) open a chest the game crashes. I attempted to destroy a chest to take what was inside and it worked. Except now my entire world is lost because every time I open it the game crashes. I had a very good thing going and I would be most pleased if I could salvage my world, so a bug fix would be fantastic! Also, the fact you need iron to get shears and hence to get a bed is rediculous. It would seem more reasonable if you got 1 block of wool from hitting a sheep and like 6 or something for using shears. But the main problem for me is my world crashes whenever I open it and my friend's crashes whenever he tries to use chests. Okay Champs unite! Because you're not getting any more videos on my single player world until this is fixed, sorry

I will bet you a full chest of diamonds that you used a world with mods that didn't update to 1.7. Anything stored in a chest that comes from a mod which doesn't exist due to the update is going to cause your SSP world to crash when you try to open that chest.

Either update the mods, or live with the consequences and start a new world. Perhaps it is a "bug", but life stinks, doesn't it? BTW, this isn't new to 1.7 either.

When does 1.7.3 come out?
