I don't CARE about the Bow!
Make the Axe do as Much damage as the sword against mobs!
I Rush Creepers with Blades!
Bows I save for Hunting Pigs, Cows, and Chickens!
Seriously though, Can we up the Power of the Axe a bit? and have it be used as 2 Uses if you Smack a Mob with it?
I personally prefer axes to Swords... Dunno why though...

this is lekily just for the current bow, as currently the bow is overpowered, with charging for each shot, spaming arrows longer is possible, or they wont go very far per shot. However id love to see charged sword strikes where a full charged strike stuns enemys, and does much more damage. Id also love to see parrying, where u can parry a sword using enemy. Also animations for enemys for EVERY attack, except wolf which his lunge is good enough. Also maybe jump attacking will give different animation. Also alot of stuipid ppl thinking carged crossbow shots is so dum. CROSSBOWS ARE MECHNICLY OPPERATED, only time ur actually doing any pulling is when u reload as u need to pull string back to put crossbolt in. Id love to see elemental arrows in as well.
I think animations would be cool when you first saw them but then after that you would just not even be able to attack because every second a animation would start. NOTE: I only mean this if you are talking about animations that make it where once you press a button and the game starts making your character do random back flips and sword slices.(like in halo only halo's doesn't get that annoying. But if you mean it just looks different like instead of only making the sword go up and down it could go side to side or something like that then I agree!
Ah, finally. Charge-able bows! In most RPG/Adventure games, I play as an archer- but not Minecraft, the lack of skill needed to use a bow and utter simplicity of the entire system has always bothered me. Not anymore, thanks Notch!
