Why did you ruin boosters? Those made for some real fun in crafting and designing minecart stations. Also, i have almost a dozen fully functional minecart stations that are now all ruined.The new booster rails do not provide the functionality (nor the fun) that the old style boosters provided.
Love the fixes Notch, but the multiplayer is unplayable. Everytime me and my friends join the lag is unbearable. Multiple times the server has actually crashed so... that would be nice to play online with friends

Mine was running successfully before the update, but now the boats do not rise anymore. They 'drive' themselves around at the bottom of the pool (beneath the waters surface), automatically destroy themselves at random intervals, and will absolutely not rise using the standards that most water elevators are built upon.

i cant buy the game at this current time because of money problems but i stated in 1.4 and i have it on 1.5 now but i dunno how i got it to update or anything so idk what to do ...

In short, random items keep disappearing when I use them. So far it seems limited to picks, but that's only because I've not used anything else. It vanishes from both my quickbar and inventory while mining and there is no way to retrieve it. I have lost a diamond pick and two iron picks now...what's the deal Notch?

i lost a wooden hoe in a new save this way, first it moved itself out of my toolbar thingy, then it disapeared alltogether. i thought it was broken but it was at 80% health.

actualy i have the proper version idk how i got it but it somehow worked.... i never used a pirated version so idk....
You shouldn't quote ficitional characters when you don't understand the subject material of what it is they are saying.
But anyway, no, real gamers = people who understand that software in beta version is software that is still under development. That means the developer can do anything he wants. Let's say you beta test a game and one day it's a solitaire game, then next version it's a tower defense game. That is perfectly fine. That is what beta testing is. The developer can even completely scrap the game if he wants, and that too is perfectly fine. It is in the TOS that you agree to when you sign up to become a Beta tester.
You can share your honest opinion all you want. But nobody is going to give a crap about it. And everybody else is going to share their honest opinion about your honest opinion. But it still doesn't mean squat for the game. So take your own advice in that regard.
Giving feedback is fine, if that is what you are actually doing. But that is not what you did. Saying things like those quoted below is not "feedback," it's whining about all the hard work you have done during Beta testing that you are going to lose, while it is completely agreed upon and even expected that nothing you do during Beta will last and could be broken or removed at any instant.
"What? Why would you do this? You just effectively crippled my server's entire automated rail system, as well as those of many other players. All that hard work down the toilet. Did this feature NEED to be removed? Was it really hurting anybody? Or is this a cruel April Fool's joke that's two months late?"

Why did my skyscrapers just drop one block in height? Are they going to cut them in half next? Not upgrading again.
They made it impossible to build blocks at the highest level of the map. Therefore any structures that went to the top of the map lost a block of height.

With Minecraft patch 1.6 releasing this week and looking to be very big in terms of bug fixes, Notch decided to release the changelist early as well. We already know about the new map system and Nether in SMP, but check out the full list below for all of the fixes and tweaks as well.

•Added tall grass in some biomes
•Mushrooms now spreads (very) slowly

There's only 2 ways to get the game: BUYING IT or PIRACY. If you bought it then you'd know you did. If you didn't purchase it then it's pirated. There is no other way to acquire the game.

Could be anything. Could be because the Nether has a roof or something. Or maybe they're going to put a top cloud layer, make it the Truman Show. :tongue.gif:

They corrected that glitch by making the player spawn one block higher (that's why you get injured when spawning in a low ceiling room, your head spawns in the ceiling). If you spawn one block higher than the ceiling of the map, then they might have discovered you get stuck up there or something so they had to make it impossible to put blocks that high to force people to spawn at the same level as the ceiling rather than above it.
