I agree with the sentiment that they should be thicker, if only to avoid the yup, stopped-by-solid-nothingness situation. If you stick with the current design, I feel that the extended "piston end" should be path-able to liquid. (can still use other blocks to block liquid...)BUT I LOVE THE NEW TEXTURE. LOVE. NON PLATONIC. LOVE.
You people do realize that with this design (the thinner one) we can use them as tables, right? just place a redstone torch below it with it facing up and BAM - TABLE!

This is so weird and freaky... /flashback a few days ago, looking at piston mod videos,"Damn, that looks so awesome, OH MY God, theres sticky pistons as well! wow, i wish they would make this in MC so dont hav to mod (kids, mods are dangerous, no offence to modders and mod creators), pss, yeah right keep dreaming stupid self:("/present day: ... HURRY UP !!!PS. id liked to have the pistons be a bit more solid, not just a flimsy stick. Also idont think sticky pistons should be made with spikes nor slimes, spikes are weird and slime is rare, how bout instead the string from spiders, it is after all a web not string, making it sticky, or mabey just another material like the mod, not everything can be realistic you know.0And another suggestion: cloth blocks should work like iron, gold, diamond, and lapis lazuli blocks, breaking it up gives back web(string).

ON TOPIC: I've been waiting for these things for a long time, and I gotta say that I'm disappointed with the textures. I know that nothing's final until the update is actually out, but I really liked the textures in the actual piston mod. Hopefully most tex packs will go with some more original designs.
