I am hoping for Crush damage so i can crush spiders I tried it with the smp piston mod Did not work that well :(Imo it looks a little weird to me but Texture packs ftw
i like the look but i think the piston should be thicker. it fits in to how minecraft looks more than the one in the mod but with just a stick for the extending part of the piston it would not make sense for blocks or water to be stopped from flowing or falling on the side of the piston.

No, I believe Jeb said he wanted it to be their own, and he had to re-make it so it worked with real minecrafts properties. I dont know the details but its on the wiki and twitter
They mean that the bar that pushes the piston should be thicker, since it looks like it can't even push dirt.
