You should be able to put two reg pistons together to make a super piston which launches things high in the air! Other than that, they look awesome so far.

Somehow I'm not surprised that they don't do the one thing I was really excited about them doing. Had so many fun plans for machines that could launch objects around. Mojang seems to really be reigning in the "fun" and "creativity" aspects of this game for the sake of "realism" with these last couple updates. It's an utter shame, because that's rarely the correct way to develop a fun and whimsical creativity toy.

launching is gone, and that sucks, because I was using that with the pistons mod to launch items up to the surface from my mod tower at bedrock, using a piston system. Still, for fast travel, this has easy possibilitys for on/off boat elevators, and maybe even just stacked pistons. Think about it. You have 100 sticky pistons going into the ground, stacked on eachother, and pressing a button extends them, 1 by 1, lifting you up. Good idea? I think so.
i think that they should make chests get pushed by pistons, it would add a lot of possibilities to making secret storage and stuff like that :smile.gif:
