The Wii U is a excellent console for todays standards, I have one, and it can do more than the xbox 360 sitting on my dresser, plugged up. The only games I would keep if I had to sell most of my Xbox games are MC, a few old call of dutys, and my lego videogames. And the games that are hard to find anymore. On the Wii U they could actually use the touchscreen to craft like on the PC. On the Xbox you just hit a button. Also for the traveling MC console player, the Wii U is much better in terms of size. 1 Console, 1 Gamepad, 3 Cords, 7 games, and a sensor bar(Wii U) as opposed to 1 console, 5 cords, 1 wireless adapter, 0 controllers, and 3 games will fit in my Xbox carrying bag. We need MC for the Wii U.

Hmm, fun times... OMG CREEEEEPERRRRRRRR! -boom- NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Creepers- The bane of MC builders everywhere since they were first encountered.
I have a Wii. It lives in a very dark corner of my closet. Did anyone actually buy the Wii U?
Sort of same for me. Back in the day(a few years ago) I went everywhere with my 3DS, equipped with latest Pokemon game. But ever since I got interested in Minecraft, my DS has been stuck on the top shelf. Last time I saw it was more dusty than a redstone mine. A Minecraft Nintendo Edition would bring it back to life.
I'm really not sure. It could be a good idea. DS Controls: Double-tap B to fly, A to place a block, Y to destroy a block and use a tool, Control pad to move, and the circular control pad to look, L to take a screenshot, and R to access the menu.
No. Just...no. I don't really see minecraft on WiiU or 3DS. It doesn't really have the feel, and the screen might be too small. Overall, I don't think any of those two devices capture the concept of the game.
Lie. The screen is you TV screen. Of anything you computer is too small.
I think it will be good on both electronics because if you play it on Wii U, it's like playing Minecraft Xbox Version. That might be pretty cool. If you play it on the 3 DS, you can play minecraft wherever and whenever you want. It's portable and much more, except you can't play multiplayer on the go because you need Wi-Fi.
I can see it on the Wii U and 3DS. But the only problem with it is it wouldn't feel right. They are trying to put Minecraft on all platforms It seems like. But on some of them it just wouldn't feel right and would feel too alien.
Why is everyone saying 'No updates' Clearly they haven't had Pokemon X/Y freeze glitch & updates. Oh, and DOWNLOADABLE SOFTWARE. It can be free, or it can't so that should shut up 25% of minecraft for 3ds haters 0-0.
Minecraft is constantly updating. Nintendo uses disc- and hard-drive-based games, so whatever game they release; it will have to be in complete form.
The WiiU Supports any USB External harddrive up to 3TB in size.
Space is not an issue.
As for the 3DS. The system can easily handle MC. 3DS is actually quite powerful. As for space: the carts hold a surprising amount of data. Patches are entirely possible.
Quote from liam5d26» pc version is simply the best
and also it wont work on the 3ds... it only has 1 circle pad
3DS Circle Pad Pro (There is also an XL version for the 3DSXL size). I use it all the time to play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on my 3DS. Adds two extra shoulder buttons...and an extra circle pad. Not to mention it's pretty efficient. It uses 1 AAA battery and I've been using mine pretty much constantly for a year now without having to replace it.
I think that it would be abit popular, it wouldnt feel like it does on xbox and ps3. Even though i have wii u i wouldnt play it becuase it wouldnt feel right and 3ds NO WAY i would hate 3d minecraft make me feel sick
