The 4th dimension is a spatial dimension. Think of how we have length, width, and height--or in Minecraft, we have the X coordinate, Y coordinate, and Z coordinate. The 4th dimension would be another coordinate we could move through, usually designated as W. That coordinate is NOT time; time is a temporal dimension, separate from the spatial ones. You can have four spatial dimensions as well as a time dimension, for example, so moving through the W coordinate would not affect time in any way. It takes a lot to describe in more depth, and the best way to visualize it is by thinking of the difference between 2D and 3D. This site explains it clearly and thoroughly if anyone is interested: http://hddb.teamikaria.com/classic/introduction.htm
As for what they meant when they posted that tidbit in the snapshot page, the wiki says that it has to do with block metadata. Someone with a better understanding of how Minecraft works could probably tell you how that's similar to "removing the 4th dimension", though I'm guessing it's somewhat akin to taking away an unused, aforementioned W coordinate to free up memory.
Every time I see a snapshot with one or two tiny changes, I am disappointed... and then I scroll down to the crapton of bugfixes. I know it can take a day (or more )for one person to fix a bug, so I personally am happy with both their pace and focus in their updates.

Or, more likely, it's just the random joke that snapshot descriptions usually end with.
It allows you to put text on your screen. SeargeDP also made a use for /title: as holographic text.
/title <player> title|subtitle <raw json title> OR /title <player> times <fadeIn> <stay> <fadeOut>
It has many possibilities! Use it in the snapshot.
What does "ready for Tesla" mean? Like, Nikola Tesla? But Tesla doesn't play Minecraft. He's dead.
Also, does "removed the 4th dimension" mean my sheep are going to stop shoving each other through walls, or that paintings and framed items are going to stop ricocheting all the hell over the place when I knock them off the wall, or what?
Because that's just what Minecraft needs: more caves. *groan* That was one of the nice things about mesas--no ugly gaping holes pockmarking an otherwise lovely landscape. Thank the cosmos for landscaping tools.
So I was working on this really cool resource pack a while ago, but bad progress nonwithstanding, I think I found something much better... I'm probably gonna never release another custom Minecraft map.Until we meet again...

Totally agreed.

More electricity and magnetism confirmed.
It's just Sacheverell making up dumb article titles to see who is paying attention.

Wonderfully done, Mojang team.
Is that a typo or is that just a joke?
