4J Studios needs to add modding to minecraft! I was thinking that there could be a small spot on the MCXONE Main menu that was for Maps and mods and unlike any other Xbox Live Add ons they could be FREE!
You know that modding on the xbox is against the rules and agreements that microsoft has. So so mods will ever come to console. Your best bet is that mojang or 4j is putting some items from mods in the original game. Armor stands were only in a mod before and now they are in the normal game. So you are out of luck...
If mods are not allowed on Xbox, explain how mods will be available in the console editions of Fallout 4? If they can bring mods for Fallout 4 on Xbox One, there is no reason mods for Minecraft could not be implemented. The only obstacle is the fact that the majority of mods are written in Java, which is what the PC version of Minecraft uses, while the console versions of Minecraft are written in C++. This means that mods would have to be re-written in C++ in order to be playable on console versions of Minecraft as well as Minecraft Windows 10 Edition.

That they announced that mods will be coming to Xbox One Fallout 4 in 2016 was a big surprise to everyone. No one expected Microsoft to ever give in on it, but it does appear that they are doing so. It's still a ways off though and then they may want to try it out with just Fallout 4 for a time... so there is plenty of time for them to decide to implement mods in Minecraft Xbox One as well. Given the historic relationship between Minecraft PC and modding, I doubt really that they'll have to be nagged about it.
