Is it just me or does minecraft just seem kinda lonely and boring? I mean don't get me wrong it's fun when there's multiple people playing but it just seems dead without anyone to play with. It's as if it's only meant to be enjoyed with multiplayer use. Wouldn't it be amazing if villagers had a more advanced A.I. System and if there were bigger more frightening mobs?
Mp v sp. It's all based on opinion. Personally, i cannot stand MP. I hate sharing a world with others. Granted, I'm not big on any form of multiplayer. That's why I skip out on gold. But if you enjoy multiplayer so much that the game feels empty without other players then I recommend finding more friends
I agree with Wolfhusband... find friends to play with if you find playing in single-player unsatisfying... or play a different game altogether that has the more complex NPC AIs and tougher enemies. It's not like Minecraft is the only videogame on the market.
Minecraft has a right to just be Minecraft. I think one reason there are so many bugs in Minecraft is that it's been trying to become "all games in one" - trying to satisfy all the different requests from the public to make it more like this game or that other game, etc. It's a game that's just going off in too many directions at once... a "jack of all trades... and a master of none."
This is one of the major reasons why terraia beats minecraft. And terraria so new game coming out at the end of February is going to hijack so many minecraft players. Eso and minecraft had a baby and it looks amazing.
Personally I prefer playing minecraft survival alone and rarely play creative, though I tend to play creative mode on other people servers. I would enjoy survival with friends but the reason I don't is because it depends on the server owner being online. If a server could be permanently online for me and my friends to dip in and out of whenever we wanted then I would be more inclined to play that way. It would be good if the game had some sort of permanent or persistent servers (or whatever they're called). Not sure if this is something that is ever going to happen on consoles but it would be a great addition.
