New (and hopefully improved ) command block suggestion
Intro- I decided that it would be best if I boroke my suggestion into steps (please excuse my grammer IM NOT IN AP ENGLISH OK !) now that's out of the way let's get started
Simple commands- there would be simple options you can modify like potion effects,Heads, encahntments, and all of the host options .
(Example)- palace your command block open your command block like a crafting table .there will be different options you can press . say you press potions then a new screen will pop up with all of the potion effects and let's say you want swiftness. So you select swiftness and you can modify the time of the potion effect and the power of it . say you want swiftness for 8:00min and a power of 600 (were you would problay go over 200 blocks a second) you then would close out of the command block and power it with red stone. Then say you power it with a lever who ever flips the lever will get that effect .For enchant ments same thing except you only pick a level like enchantment level 50 sharpness. then you would select a wepond to give it to
Long complex commands -First off I've gotten a lot of HATE for this one . for long complex commands there would be a site were you type in your long complex commands as you would do on PC. Then you will submit your command. After that it will go to a leader board of different submitted commands from the coummity. This would also give us Xbox players a game exclusive.
(Example) go to
www.xboxcommand/minecraftfourms.com and type your command which will go to a leader board of other user summited commands that you can put into your command block
That's all for my suggestion if I made ANY SPELLING ERRORS don't hate
Any further question and you want a quick response go to @shortv100 on twitter and I will reply as soon as possible I only check the fourms only so often thanks Shortv100
Dude, more punctuation. There is a massive run-on sentence that really made me lose focus on what you were saying.
So...have a list of community-made commands that require PC access to submit? Uh-huh...I feel like something like that won't happen if we ever even get the block. If anything, it'll be a more simplified version with only certain things that we can select.
Sorry, but having a command to detect a baby zombie villager with an iron shovel in order to spawn flaming spiders with invisibility on top of the nearest player seems a lot less likely than changing the time or teleporting someone.
Sorry about bad punctuation but I did this at 7 in the morning but who cares about that. What I ment is Im relating this to the current Minecraft Xbox360 leader board and take that and put commands there and then the coumminity could slect one off the "leader borad to put in there command block". The only reason we would need pc acesses is beacuse of the fact that typing on the 360 takes long even writting on signs takes for ever example: "Map made by smarticus127" takes arround 2 minutes to type (unless your really freaking fast).I also explained earlier in my proposal about the limmited things you would get to do with out pc acesses like Heads, potion effects, encantments, and all of the host options of course then you would be able to mess arround with them to an extent.Say you would want "Potion effect Jump Boost 142" then you would get that effect by activateing the command block with a red stone siginal that concludes my elplination. Sorry for any typos hope I answered your questions thanks for replying Shortv100 my Twitter is @shortv100 if you need any thid eles and no Im not trying just to get more followers its just convenient for me thanks again Shortv100 Ps love the example of the command you gave me it was Lol and yes I know you don say it like that but again thats not important. HOPE YOU HAVE AN AWSOME DAY!!!!
I know my "proposal" is hard to read but I did it quickly and I am going to fix it soon im sorry for the inconvenience. Ps I hope you suggestion dose well
I think overall, you have a solid idea. I'm not going to criticize your grammar (I'm above that...) but, phoenix has a point. It could become slightly overwhelming. But the most basic idea is good, thumbs up man
... plus sign and that wil pull up a leader bord type thing that has a list of custom commands from the couminity and are rated by the coummimiy that will atomaticly paste into the command block of you slect one and to make your own commands you would have to go on the computer...
What about commands that don't come from the community? So to type a long command you have to go on your computer and it will magically put the command on your Xbox?
I do want Command Blocks but they will be complicated since the Xbox Keyboard is too tiring and long.
As I've said before, command blocks on the console versions would require a redesigned UI for them. Typing command lines is not practical. Having said that, I think both current Xboxes support USB keyboards. I know the One does. I use one all the time with apps like Internet Explorer, and even in games that have you type out labels and such (like Minecraft). But the dev team can't assume that console players have KBs attached.
If they're not going to implement CBs anytime soon (or at all), then I do wish they would separate the big general redstone section (for all MC) into CB discussion and non-CB discussion (and enforce the split). That section is now useless to console players. It didn't use to be. I used to spend a good amount of time there, and I've never played the PC version. Now it's very difficult to find a post there that doesn't involve CBs.
Thanks for being supportive and for being above grammar typing I hate fealing like a sutuent in a Pretty AP English class I'm planing on fixing it soon Sorry if I'm not in my actual account forgot password

"Thanks for being supportive, and for being above grammar. I hate feeling like a student in an AP English class. I'm planning on fixing it soon. Sorry, I'm not in my actual account--forgot the password."
Just separate the sentences, man. Using periods alone would be a perfect first step. I don't like being "that guy" but your posts really need some work, if you want to be understood properly.
I fear that anything that includes input from a computer site (as I think you're suggesting for long, complex commands) will not happen. Microsoft is not ever likely to allow for world files to be taken from the Xbox environment and run through a separate computer internet program (that's why modding is currently a no no on the Xbox).
IF (and that's a big IF) they do ever decide to give us command blocks, I think they will be VERY, VERY limited in scope. Since they have added book and quill despite the keyboarding issues, I don't think it's the typing that is the major hold up. I think it's more about program stability and the fact that, on the Xbox 360 at least, the whole game is running so close to the wire as it is. Things like cap limits and specific animation timings are things that 4J have to keep tinkering with after every update just to keep lag in check... and so I think adding CBs and putting some of this under the player's whimsy would just be asking for game crash after game crash.
