Allowing water to be placed in the Nether would destroy a lot of the danger. You could literally just turn the entire sea of lava into an obsidian floor, as well as extinguish any fire. A lot of the danger and excitement in the Nether is because of all the ways of burning up and getting set on fire. Adding a cheap and easy way of removing a lot of that danger would really dampen the challenge and make the Nether a lot more friendly, which isn't the point. That's like saying they should remove the void in The End so you don't fall and lose all your items or allowing you to place a bed in the Nether or End to set your spawn. Those would essentially be get-out-of-jail-free cards that greatly reduce the challenge. Just because you think no-water-in-the-Nether is annoying doesn't mean that allowing it is a good idea. There's no good reason for water in the Nether that doesn't make it less dangerous or more easy, so no support.
(As a little side note, please use better grammar in your next suggestion and go into more depth as to why your suggestion is a good idea. The way you've type out this one makes it seem lazy and that you haven't put very much thought into it... actually, I guess you didn't really think this out.)

but yeah, this idea defeats most of the point of the Nether, maybe they should make it so that you can do it in creative, but I'm "iffy" about that one too.

You can already do it in creative mode. Not with a bucket of water, but with the actual water block using the /give or /setblock commands.EDIT: Whoops! I completely forgot I was in the Xbox forum.

Being able to use a bucket of water to cover all the lava in the nether is not only cheap, but defeats the purpose of the nether I think.
