Right now the sound options for 360 are limited -- music or general audio. Players should be given the ability to adjust the sounds of animals, mining, mobs, etc. Animal sounds are a big one as breeding pens full of cows, dogs, chickens, and pigs are deafening and EXTREMELY obnoxious. They also drown out mob sounds and allow for sneak creeper attacks that destroy everything. It would be a huge benefit to be able to turn animal sounds completely OFF while not affecting mob/monster sounds so that we can still hear them approaching.

I cant count the numerous times I have wanted a volume control for rain, its the most obnoxious sound ever. Thats why half the time I build in a desert and struggle to make grass grow to my new base from elsewhere. OR I'll try a snow biome, but those don't have villiages. So yeah, I go out of my way to avoid the sound of rain.

Anything to kill the animal sounds. If they only mooed and baa'ed and oinked every few minutes it would be great, but they never shut up. I gave up animal husbandry and have since been on a diet of baked potatoes and pumpkin pie.
So much this. I haven't played 360 edition for about two months for two main reasons: Lack of updates and rain. Yes, completely rain. The sounds are very annoying for me, because I like to turn off music and try to make minecraft more immersive. If I could adjust the rain sound and make it more like real life rain (which is usually not very loud where I live), that would be amazing. When PC had this added, I was immediately in love with the update, for mostly that. The new biomes and stuff were cool, but too rare.
