This... Just, this. Dont lie, you know this would be amazing to add to redstone!
Just an FYI, this video was an April Fools joke by MumboJumbo, but the concept and idea still applies. This suggestion should apply not only to Xbox 360, but all platforms.

Wow, glad to see tons of support. What makes it better is the video is by a major youtuber, so maybe Mojang ... ahem, 4J, will catch wind of this, and consider it.

I *do not* have the PC version of Minecraft, but I do recall coming across a mod for PC Minecraft that had "insulated" wires. It was pretty much the same idea as the video above. Wires only connect up with wires of the same colour as themselves, making circuits much more compact. You could run multiple wires next to each other without worrying about them cross connecting.

It actually took it a step further and allowed for bundled wiring and made use of a new tech that was more 'electricity-like' called blutricity, which actually traveled over a metallic conductive surface, could be harvested as power by various wind turbines, solar panels, reactors/generators, etc. and could be used to power certain new machines and charge batteries. This is a foundation mod in the Industrial Craft 2 Mod family.
However, I digress, I would love the ability to run concurrent, independent lines of signal next to each other, and this is a simple recipe/application to follow in using dyes to make separate colored 'redstone wires'
Yeah that would be nice. Easier to make circuits and wires crossing that way... maybe... depending on how it is done. still even with not crossing in mind it would help to distinguish different parts of complex devices, without having to use alternate blocks under the wires...:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I dont think there needs to be another color of redstone. I understand it's use, but there is a reason why someone made it an April Fools joke. It's dumb.

I know it's awesome and all, but aren't we supposed to suggest our own ideas instead of something from the PC?
Stay fluffy~
Lol. No, its not in any version at all, its an april fools joke by MumboJumbo. But it should SO be implemented.
Definitely support.
Major Support for Bluestone! April Fool's or not.
Support. The ability to create different circuits by dying them different colors would be awesome.

Mojang... ahem, 4J, will catch wind of this, and consider it.Support, just replace the word mojang with 4J. Or did I wonder into PC again? That would be awkward.

Ceci n'est pas une signature.
Nope. You didnt wander off to PC.
But yeah, Mojang, 4J, either one... Both made the game. You know what I meant!
Ah okay then. Poor 1.9 people got all up in a tizzy over what could've been a great thing.

Colored wires?
