Hey I'm a Xbox 360 player and have always wanted to see a use for the bats that have been recently been added to the game, (TU19 I believe?). I think that if they were to drop an item such as bat wings that could open up to an idea of a new potion or maybe a firework shape? I know it would not be implemented soon because I do not see a new potion coming out any time in the near future, I mainly intended this to just make use of a otherwise useless mob in the game.
Hmmm maybe they could drop wings that would be used to make a potion of flying!And maybe there should be vampire bats for witches.The vampire bats do not spawn on peaceful.They deal with half a heart on easy,1 whole heart on normal and 3 heart damage on hard.Maybe 3 and a half heart damage on hardcore mod.99.9% support!

Sounds like a good idea, but it needs more detail.
How many bat wings would be dropped per bat? What specific ingredients would be used made to make the potion? What type of potion is it? What is the potion called? What is the duration for each type of potion made with bat wings? Where is the suggestion for a new drop for witches? etc.
Bats were mode soley for decoration, the single fact that they drop XP shoukd be taken away, they help make an environment seem nice and give that dark feeling to caves, I like them how they are now and I don't think they need any tweaking what-so-ever.
Because the bat is an Ambient creature and poses no great challenge or threat, the value of a drop from a bat, it should not hold very high value at all...whatever it is... at least no more than any other passive animal.
But Seriously... Guano (sodium phosphate) could be combined with charcoal to make gunpowder... I know... still lacking the sulfur... but in lieu of not having sulfur to work with...

Pretty sure the potion ingredient thing has been suggested before, but the firework shape thing im pretty sure wasn't.
If "Bat Wings" were added and could be used for Firework shapes(maybe a Batman Symbol?) I would support this!
But i would suggest you change you post to that before it gets locked for redundancy. Would also add a more clear description to it.
