Slime blocks were not added in the Java Version until 1.8, the console was only brought up to 1.6.4 current, so no, they are still on the drawing board for a future update.
The reasons you shouldn't suggest components that are part of other existing versions of the core vanilla game on different systems is that the developers are already aware of those and the Suggestions forum is intended for NEW ideas, not ideas that are already being considered and may very well be currently under development.
There is a MCX360: Recent & Upcoming Updates thread to discuss content that you would like to see brougt forward from later versions of the game or as exist on other platforms.
