I fully support your suggestion man,but it seems it will never happen.PC players have been asking for this feature for about 5 years now and they still don't have it.Seriously, search PC suggestions for "furniture". A million threads and almost a million of them locked for being suggested before. It seems most people can't see past rules violation so it doesn't really matter that a crap-ton of people want this added.(Check out some of the polls concerning this also just for fun)
Anyway, this will probably get locked.Even if it doesn't you will end up with people that will tell you that you can make a table by placing a pressure plate on a fence post so we don't need this added blah blah blah.It don't look like a table to me.It looks like....a fence post with a pressure plate on it. Imagine that.lmao

Some things.. I can say yeah sure.
Like it'd be nie to have an actual table that doesn't have to have all four fence posts connected together. I always wanted to make a table look like an actual table (Besides the single block tables where the leg is in the middle. I'm talking like a 4 block table with the same thing, or things on the sides that don't connect) or an actual chair at times.
By craft furniture... do you mean adding additional set (predefined) pieces of furniture into the game that you can craft on a crafting table? Or are you looking at having much more control over the design of the individual pieces of furniture as was somewhat accomplished in using something like the Little Blocks Mod for the PC side?
This latter method... although providing MUCH more control over the design... has been known to be particularly memory intensive on the PC side resulting in severe lag on several high performance machines.... but was kind of cool to be able to make much smaller redstone components and custom furniture at the same time.
The coolest thing would be if you could import furniture that you've built yourself in MySims on Nintendo WII. But that would be asking too much. (What about minecarts you've built yourself in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, then...?)
I think having furniture in the game will be pointless because y would we want furniture and what are we goona do with them next people are going to ask for weird things like pizzaa, vampire mobs, and more.

Sponge is pointless yet it's in game. It's only useful if you like underwater things...and creative since creative is the only place to obtain it. Furniture would be ok, the point to them though is so your house isn't so empty and boring I guess. I don't care if we would get it or if we won't ever.

Yeah sponge is pointless and so might be furniture you may not see many people use furniture and were perfectly fine with what we do we dont need more useless things in this game.

I agree."We" don't NEED it,but you can say the same thing about almost
every item/block that has ever been added to Minecraft...unless you enjoy
lying to yourself.
To me a needed item is an item that would completely break the game if it were removed. So,what is your list of items needed to make it from your first day to the ending credits?? Are anvils, enchantment tables, beds, horses, fireworks, redstone components, and multicolored wool in your list? "We" don't NEED any of those things....but it's damn great that we have them ain't it?Options are an awesome thing and furniture would just be another decorative option to add to the list of existing decorative options.
What is so wrong with it anyway?
In what way would adding it to the game negatively affect you and all others who think it's such a lame idea?Nobody would force you to use it just like nobody forces me to use netherrack when I'm building something.I don't come here and suggest netherrack be removed from the game simply because I personally have no use for it and I damn sure wouldn't pretend that I have some right to speak for everybody here by saying something like "WE want it removed because WE think it's useless".

Likewise, we don't really need furniture either. If it hasn't been put in by now, it probably never will be.
Stay fluffy~

Sad but probably true.
