While digging up old threads is often frowned on... I think digging up old suggestion threads in order to add support to the suggestion rather than just starting a new thread would be preferred by many. It would keep the overwhelming number of threads in this section down AND keep bringing the popular suggestions to the forefront so that, perhaps, 4J might actually notice and consider them properly.
Unfortunately, I really don't see Microsoft breaking down on this one and allowing them to implement a file sharing system. I'm not sure what there big objection to it is, but they have gone to great lengths to ensure that files cannot be share... even among users on the same Xbox console. I do support being able to file share at least among users of the same Xbox (e.g. family members), but I don't really care how they might precisely implement it. It can be like Halo or not... don't care... just, please 4J, do something.
It would be nice if they did it, but their history has demonstrated exactly the opposite, so I'm not holding my breath. 4J knows people want it (how could we not?) but Microsoft and Sony won't permit it. And, as several people have said, this has been suggested repeatedly, with the same response. Therefore, I'll be locking this thread now.
The thread title says it all, a file share system like Halo's, so we can share and download eachothers maps.
I'm not sure of the feasibility of this but I think it would be really really awesome.
Thoughts?
