Hello Everyone, I was thinking, when other players join a multiplayer game they spawn in different locations. The 'Moderator Menu' already has options in which it improves the gameplay online, how about adding an option of changing the Spawn. The host would simply walk over a block, enter the 'Moderator Menu' and select "Set Spawn at Current Location" then it will appear in the chat that the spawn has been changed to the current position but this message can only be seen by the host preventing spam. There should also be an option where the player can simply press a button called "Delete Spawn" which it would set the spawns back to their original co-ordinates and delete the current 'Player Set Spawn'. The host would not be able to set the spawn above an 'Air Block' making the players to die as they join, but when setting the spawn you cannot destroy the block you set the spawn to. This would be great for Servers, Adventure Maps, Sky-Blocks, Clans and your basic Single Player worlds.
Problems
1) The host would be overriding the spawn points set by beds
2) The host could set the spawn inside a trap or an odd place tormenting the players

1) The "host" would then be overriding the spawn points set by beds, which are truly "player set" spawn points.
2) Their would be immense potential for some hosts to "torment" players joining the game.by having them spawn in odd places or inside traps built by the host.

I support this.. But it should really just be a matter of walking to a specific spot, Pushing start, Find in host options "make spawning point" and that's it.
A little slot is there, you push A on it, it asks "are you sure you want to make this your spawning point?", push A to say yes and it's done.

I'm undecided.

I would like the feature as long as beds have the override to it, as beds would become far less useful or even useless in certain worlds.
Stay fluffy~

But I agree that beds should having the over-riding factor. The option should only change the game's initial spawn location.
