I think there should be a lot of new biomes so theres more variety because most of the time you spawn in a snowy biome (taiga) or a jungle biome. Its so rare for you to spawn in plains biome or extreme hills biome maybe even a regular forest biome so im gonna make bullets (asterisks) of the 5 new biomes that should go in the game
*Volcanic Biome - No trees, Lava, a mountain full of lava coming down, and Lava pools. The reason why I think this should go in the game is because they have a lot of stuff that could match this such as Ravines, Lava Falls, and A Huge Mountain, If you put that together you get a volcano and another reason to go here is for lava buckets, obsidian, and plain old cobblestone.
*Earthquake Biome - Ravines, Caves, and Holes in ground. Not going to have earthquakes but I think there should be a biome made to have a cave or ravine in it. Reason why I think this would be a good biome is that it will make you go adventure to other biomes and even find a cave or even a ravine. Its also good for going on mining trips.
*Ruins Biome - Half built Houses, Mineshaft (rarely), and stone pillars. The reason why I think this should go in the game is because if there is a mineshaft (rarely) then you can get some decent loot and if there is some half built houses you can make a house there and explore the mineshaft later. The ruins is like 3 villages put together but there is no blacksmith because that would be op and it would make it a good place to live.
*Garden Biome - Leaves, Flowers, and Water. Its not that good of a biome but I think that it would be good for dyes, flower collecting, farms, leaves, and water buckets. The Garden Biome also needs flowers so there needs to be more flowers in a update. The only flowers are Mushrooms, Roses, And Dandelion. I didn't include ferns, tall grass, vines, saplings, and dead bushes.
*Stormy Biome-Waves. In the ocean Biome there is a new water Biome called a Stormy Biome it has waves that you can ride your boat over and i think it should always spawn next to ocean biome. The reason why I think it should be in the game is because in the ocean its all calm, annoying and its boring. People avoid oceans but I think if something awesome is in the ocean then people won't complain.
I like the idea of more biomes in general, and some of these sound pretty cool.
However, the map size on the console is extremely limited in the amount of biomes that can be supported at one time, plus, it is likely that 4J is going ot be focusing on porting over the biomes that already exist in Mojang's Java/PC version first.
But that being said, the last three would be better as game features than as biomes, ie.:
Just as there is no such thing as a 'village biome', villages are rather considered 'generated structures', as such, perhaps your garden idea and ruins idea should be generated structures as well. (similar with the Stronghold, Dungeons, Mineshafts, Ravines, Nether Fortress, Desert Wells, etc.)
As to the Stormy biome... this could just as well be a weather effect in an ocean biome, much like the snow fall, rain, lightning storms, etc.
As to your earthquake biome... there are already generated ravines in the game, and since you said, 'no actual earthquakes', this would be a generated structure anyway.
The Volcanic Biome has already been heavily discussed here:

I only really like the Volcanic Biome, and the Earthquake Biome, and to a lesser extent the Ruins Biome.
Simply because the Ruins doesn't really sound like it's anything special.. it's nothing more than stuff already in the game just placed in a certain manner.
So.. how would it be too..? Would it be more like.. say a city? I'd be more inclined to say sure if it was an actual town or something. Say a place 4x the size of a typical village, with more actual infrastructure such as rail, minecarts, and maybe shops etc.
I would really like a rocky, volcanic biome. I also like the earthquake biome. Don't really like the idea of having an entire biome full of ruins, but a few sparse scattering of broken houses or stone structures would fit quite nicely into the game.
