If they were to add this it would attract people from pc versions because it would add a feature that pc doesn't already have. In this biome there would be a console exclusive dirt called Slime dirt or something around that. The mobs that would spawn would be regular slimes or different colored slimes. If they added this they could add it when they add slime blocks for the consoles.
I kinda like the idea of the multicolored slime, but agree that it isn't all to useful.
At the same time allot of biomes aren't useful it would be for aesthetic reasons. Like mushroom biomes there are very little use for those biomes however it is still there for the extra dirt and mob it could be the same with the slime biome.
The only thing I like about this is having different coloured Slime which even still is completely useless.

Right, I got carried away here. Because this is a sandbox game, anything goes, nothing needs a purpose.
It does sound like a colorful looking biome, but well detailed, and thought through. 10 out of 10 for originality. I guess, now that I think about it, I'll give 50% support. I'd like to walk through it, maybe make a house in it. But i would prefer some more natural biomes to this.

Or have more uses for slime.. At one point I had like 5 chests full of just slime.. then I realized that it's all useless.. so I took all of it and through it away.

The idea is alright, but like the people above me said, there really aught to be more to do with slimeballs before something like this even were to be considered. I dunno , there are slimes who are bigger than the build limit ... So those could be a (awesome) threat (WOULDN'T IT BE AWESOME TO BE ABLE TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE!?)
