I have an ender chest in every mine base of mine. and I am tired of having an entire inventory full of coal so that the more precious ores are safe till I get home and pickem back up.

The simple solution is that the bottom inventory is only visible if you have the full or double enderchest, while only the top inventory is visible if you just have the single of half enderchest.

single ender chest would display top half of double chest, like normal chest

...of course... once coal blocks and redstone blocks are ported over, you will be able to significantly condense your coal and redstone resources... regardless, I support the double enderchest idea, and more for aesthetics than for anything else, I just want it to fit in with all my other double chests.

the Flint block is an idea... but slime blocks should already be on the slate for future development.

No, but the basic blocks I do... the quill likely won't be... but I see the slime block as becoming one of the 'basic blocks' (if it hasn't already) as opposed to say dark oak or acacia wood blocks, which I see as less likely as I think it more likely that some biomes might be skipped due to world size.

I have chests full of flint because of all the gravel I dig up from filling lava pools with them. Plus i just do a LOT of mining... I have literally probably 27 chests full of cobblestone.

Basic idea.. just nine flint = one flint block. Same basic principle.

I'd love slime blocks too.. because I have a LOT of that too.. because my mine is so big that there's like however many slimes can spawn at once around my chest compound all the time at any given time.

well it snot really stoage completely. i put some food tools and a weopon or two in my ender chests becaus i go mining and i never know wen i need sumthing like that. but the problem is weopons and tools dont stack and it takes up a lotta room, so double enderchests would help

that would be very handy if they add that feature
