So i have been playing minecraft for about 6 months bought all of the texture packages in hopes id be able to read the numbers on the enchantment table. when the i put an item in. its hard to read the numbers no matter what texture package one uses iv tried using my friend 55 inch tv to see if it would help its was still hard to read the numbers.
Most people don't use that big of a tv.
I noticed in all the texture pack the number or phrase in question have light blue letters but when its highlighted or lite up because you have the level for it its a light blueish backdrop making the letters hard to read no matter which texture package your using.
SO i came up with a solution to the problem
make the galactic words and numbers black text. so that no matter what when its highlighted or able to be selected its readable
and using black text would make the words pop out so no matter what size tv your using rather it be an 8 inch tv to a 60 inch tv. the letters will pop out at you and make them readable. go ahead keep it the galactic language though that way it make it still a little bit of a guessing game
But the text color needs to be changed so that they can be view able.
tvs..are ypu talking about the xbox/ps3 editions? if so, HDMI is the answer ...i know how it feels though./..the tv is my room is an old box tv so i have to sit close to see words and stuff

im just blame it on the tv bro. since its not a flat screen its an old big tv isomeone idiot dropped off in my field and surpsiing ly it was still working.
As the OP is talking about the console editions, I will move this to the XBLA suggestions section.
As for the suggestion, the issue is that you are using an old CRT TV, which is almost certainly over a decade old. Even if the TV itself is not, HDTVs replaced them in most households over the last 10 years. Am I okay with them making it easier to read on old TVs? Sure. But eventually they have to stop supporting dying technology. I think stopping support for a TV type that hasn't been popular for a decade is acceptable.
