You may or may not know, but not ALL of the blocks are in the creative mode menu. I'd like to see these blocks/items in the creative mode menu:
Dragon Egg
Mob Spawners
Mushroom blocks
These items are to obtain, and some not obtainable at all. So if they could at least add them to the creative mode menu, that would make things a whole lot easier.
There are a ton of other blocks that aren't in creative. But yes, these 3 would be very useful. I used to break the dragon egg or quick clear it from my hotbar, and it would be usefull for getting it back. I would like the mushroom blocks to be the solid color tops. And the spanwers should work the way they do on PE.

Yes for the love of god thank you.
While the Dragon Egg can be obtained... (via pushing it with a piston in The End), It would be easier to obtain in the menu.
But what I really want in this list here... Is the mushroom block. The red and white one in particular. Because.. I built a Mushroom House, and guilty as charged suffer from Minecraft OCD.. accidentally broke a block on a piece Mushroom and that one spot gone even thinking about annoys me.
I did get creative and was able to obtain a "mushroom block" from breaking a piece of Mushroom with a Silk Touch Pickaxe, but.. the Mushroom Block on all sides when placed looks like the brown spongy part of the Mushroom, not like the outer section of the brown, and the red and white one.
So I was very frustrated and wish they would add that.
Actually there's a lot of blocks that they haven't added that seems so illogical it makes me scream in my head 'WHY... WHY.... WHYYYYYYYYYY??????????????????'
Such as the Redstone Block, the Coal Block, the Mushroom Block, etc. Drives me crazy.

Yeah I agree. I have so much coal filling up my chests..... doing nothing. I agree with you, they should add coal blocks and redstone blocks.
Am I mistaken, or did you make a topic about coal blocks a long time ago? Lol.
Coal a redstone blocks should be coming soon-ish, perhaps even in the next title update.... but yeah, we should at least have creative access to the blocks that already currently do exist in the game...including all those mentioned above.

I'd like to see Sponges, and their perspective purpose put into survival.. Then it wouldn't be staring at us in the face mocking us.. lol

I just want sponges because I don't want to be trapped for two minutes and possibly drown when I'm mining in some spot and the wall breaks open with a waterfall etc.. could place the sponge and be safe (from what I understand how sponges work).

On June 8 2014, Jeb stated that he is re-adding sponges to survival for 1.8. They still clear water as they did before, though their mechanics are more complex than simply clearing a 5x5x5 area[1][/sup]. They still remove water in what appears to be a 5x5x5 area, but it will only remove water if water is touching it, and will remove only water that is connected to the water touching the sponge. This will transform it into a wet sponge, which is darker and drips water particles. Wet sponges make no attempt to keepthe cleared area clear of new water, thus getting around the specific bug that required disabling the old sponges in Infdev. The new sponges have undergone a slight retexture. The Sponge Block will be available in Survival Mode, but will not be crafted, and can be found by the methods below:
I voted no only because I don't support the addition of dragon eggs and there was no option to support some of the blocks but not all of them.
The dragon was meant to be an END to the game and being able to spawn more of them defeats that purpose and probably would cause people to renew requests for a means of ending the game.
Movable mob spawner blocks in survival mode are really just too power a weapon. In creative, it would perhaps be OK for the purposes of allowing people to pre-build game worlds with specific mob challenges... but once the game goes into survival mode, the spawner should not be movable or place-able (i.e. no loading up inventories in creative and using those inventories to grief people in survival).
I do support the addition of mushroom blocks of all types, even in survival mode (if only in order to reconstruct damaged mushroom homes as Junokaii indicates).

Keep in mind that these suggestions were for creative mode. You can't pick up spawners now, and you wouldn't be able to pick them up then. As for the dragon eggs, you can already give yourself a few stacks of them in creative with the duplication feature (Using item frames or torches) None would be craftable in creative.
Good ideas, but this thread was for pre-existing blocks for creative.

Crikey... The OP mentioned nothing about the spawners not being moveable in survival mode... and that is why I added that the spawners should also not be place-able in survival mode. That is, so that if you have a bunch in your inventory from having been in creative mode, you should not be able to place them while the game is in survival mode.
Re the dragon's egg - I believe, as it is, you can dupe the egg, but you cannot spawn a new dragon with it. Again, the OP doesn't state whether or not the suggestion involves the ability to use the dragon eggs to spawn new dragons; but most of the past suggestions regarding the dragon eggs do, in fact, wish to use them to spawn new dragons in order to fight the dragon again and again. That does undermine the principle behind it as an END (which at the time it was introduced, the public was complaining about Minecraft not having an End - i.e. a way to "beat" the game). If the purpose in the suggestion is just to have an ugly, useless block people can place around their creative worlds at will, then I guess I have no real objection to it, although I think then that it's rather pointless.
This sort of falls along the same lines as the idea behind a charged creeper drop - a very, very rare "pinnacle" item. However, many people seem to object to the idea of having something extremely rare in the game. The dragon egg was meant to be a once in a world "trophy." The moment something like that goes in, though, people want to find a way to make is as common as dirt.
Okay, that will work. Spawners wouldn't be able to be placed in survival, or if they did, you wouldnt be able to activate them.
The dragons would not hatch from the eggs, they would just be the decorative item. The reason the eggs in creative would be useful: Sometimes, I'll be in creative, and will be holding the dragon egg. I quick clear it from my inventory, and then have no way to get it back. Or, if somebody played in survival, and fell into the void after collecting the egg, they loose it and have no way to get it back, unless they exit without saving. Creative would be a good way to get it back. It could be abused, sure. But I think the uses for the creative dragon egg block outway the abuse.
And besides, you can already get the dragon egg in creative anyways. Just make the portal, kill the dragon, take the egg and spam place it all over. Having it as a creative block just saves some time.

Lol yes I did.
I honestly had never heard of a Coal Block before and thought maybe i was onto something.
But before I could plead my case the thread was locked.

Maybe for survival, sponges can be underwater? Or maybe in jungles....
