Since I bought minecraft I rarely got the opportunity of playing in a full world, and some times in the same week ,and other times, (around 15 different worlds) I was in the server and tried to invite another friend, but I couldn't , anyways the game was lagging as hell because we were 8 , but anyways, I think that the horrible lagging in the worlds should get fixed or at least improved. I mean , you can't avoid people with horrible internet connections but at least improve the game if "you" have a good internet. Because it's impossible having a world with more than 4 guys playing without lagging as hell , unless that they stole NASA's internet. But if they didn't , they will lag.
SUMMARY
Increase max users in the same world to 12 or 16 , like in PC. And I don't know why but in PC people with their own servers with more than 40 guys in don't lag, only you lag if you have a horrible pc and a horrible internet connection. In X360 it's kinda the opposite.
Fixing the horrible lagging even if you have a perfect internet connection.
An 8 player game, from what I've heard, already creates a drop in fps. Heck, I have an original 360 that can barely handle 4 player split screen. On the one and ps4, there will be expanded multiplayer, though at launch, it will only be able to host 8 players.
The slim 360 that I have cannot handle 4 player splitscreen either. Hell, it can barely handle two player. The Xbox 360 does not have the processing power required to have splitscreen with this game, but they added it anyways. No, let me rephrase that. Within the first like four updates, it was just fine but with these new updates it is unbearable.
OP: I find it quite a contradiction that you want them to improve lag but then you suggest a thing (increasing player limits) that is absolutely certain to make the lag much worse. As others have indicated, the Xbox 360 simply does not have the processing power to handle the load as it is; and there is no way to increasing the processing capabilities of the Xbox 360 (e.g. by swapping out cards) the way you can on a PC. It is what it is; but on the bright side, the Xbox One and the PS4 both have a lot more processing power to work with. In this case, the lag has very little to do with the internet connection.
