Now I could just start a whole bunch of threads for stuff I'd like to see added to this forum, but I don't wanna be that guy. So to start off, here is some stuff I'd like to see added to the 360 version, but this is mostly aimed for servers.
1. Option to disable creepers from spawning. Let's be honest, Creepers are iconic in Minecraft, however if you are making or are on a server where you built a castle and *BLAM*! A creeper blows up a wall! However, if we had an option on our world generation to disable creepers from spawning, we wouldn't have that problem.
2. Allow you to be in creative and others in survival. Now on the PC version this is possible, and I know 'cause I play on the PC version. now if you're on a server and you want to build a structure for others to explore or want to give someone some gold when they're selling blocks to you, but, what if you run out? Are you really going to go out and mine 16 gold as a payment to someone who gave you 64 stone? Nope. Now of course you could just have large chests filled with stacks of gold with a bedrock structure around it to protect it. However, I'd rather be in creative, everyone else in survival, that way I don't have to worry about people finding the entrance to my money base and stealing it.
3. Command blocks. I understand there is a great deal of debate about this as command blocks can be used for griefing. However, people use TNT for griefing, people can spawn 16 creepers and skeletons to grief you. And to stop people from griefing, 4J should make it so only Mods in the world have access to edit/place a command block, as well as destroy it. However, I don't really want to have to look online for command block codes, so why not have a "glyph" editor where it could be like you first select a command (/tp, /spawn, etc) then you select the logical command following it (if you are using /tp, it would have the logical choices for it, same for spawn and the rest) Next if you want to give someone a block, you just select what block type through a menu that looks like the creative menu, and how much of it through that. So in short, the only way someone can use a command block, is to be a mod and be given permission to by the top-mod to be able to use command blocks.
4. Horses. I think most, if not all people who like minecraft want horses in the 360/PS3 versions. I just want horses because they're better than pigs.
5. Nametags. Not really that important, but I think people would like these in an RPG server or something.
6. Mods by 4J. I understand how much 4J has done for us so far, and after the release of the Xbox One/PS4 versions and the logical updates following them, why not mods that 4J makes? Such as a mod with guns, or cars, or more armor and block types? Now mods can work like texture packs, if the server is using a mod or mods, you need it or them in order to play on it. And you can select the mods you want underneath where you select the texture packs. (Maybe one day we can Pixelmon )
Let me know what you think of my ideas, and please, no wars about the whole command block controversy in servers.
2- Don't be lazy...game is meant to go and explore, not "cheat" and be unfair.
3- Why would we even really need this?
4- Agree, pigs are terrible for transportation. And just because....horses!
5- Yes. Want and need actually, will be very useful for all players I bet.
6- Well I've heard that the DLC we get is actually kind of like mods....and they are by 4J so there.
It all really comes down to how much space/memory we have. Some stuff I would like and can be useful while others are redundant and or just meh. Also this is technically a wishlist I believe.
Please use the search feature to find and add to discussion threads that already exist for those topics rather than create new threads. Please do not make suggestions that are already implemented in the MojangAB developed version of Minecraft on the PC (those are already being considered, and the suggestions forum is for new ideas, not ideas already implemented in another version). Please do not do wish listing, if your topic is big enough to warrant it's own discussion thread for additional input, then it deserves it's own thread, related ideas are ok, but not unrelated ideas. If you just want to list your opinion of a list of items to add, there is a small suggestions thread that you can add to there.
