If you have host privileges, you should be able to change people's game modes whilst in the game. It would improve quite a lot of different maps. Any server that requires to have items spawned in (such as RPG maps) would save a lot of time with this feature. It means you wouldn't have to spend ages filling chests with the supplies you need for survival. Me and some friends spent ages building a map for a new server we decided to make. Shortly after we finished building, we abandoned the idea after realising exactly how much work it would take to fill chests with all the items we would need. These are just times when this feature would benefit me, but I'm sure other people could find plenty of uses for this as well.
Sounds good, I support. If its not possible to have different gamemodes per player, then maybe you could change the gamemode for everyone, and the world would just reload or save
I think that the way the system handles game modes may require a rewrite of something, which may result in delays for others things and/or bugs in the game.
I would like it when I'm hosting maps, but for now, you just gotta go that extra step and have everything ready.
"Jake groaned and rolled onto his side."
The Master Roleplayer was born...
You know who found that interesting?
