Custom maps like adventure maps and pvp arenas and puzzle maps are huge aspects of the PC game. Minecraft(PC) was built around mods and texture packs and custom maps and anything to make the game different from just another sandbox game. The vanilla game itself is only about half of what it really is. Many people play Minecraft just for the facts that it has custom maps and mods. Minecraft for Xbox 360 is a great game itself but it is still missing many of the functions that makes Minecraft, Minecraft. I still have a great time playing regular Minecraft but sometimes I want something new, a change. Mods are definitely harder to code into the game then say a few maps, but the Minecraft Xbox 360 community enjoys playing these maps. Right now the only way to play custom maps is by a method that is against Microsoft's terms of use. I would love to see a way to change that. For those of you that have played a Halo game, custom game types and maps are almost more of the game than the campaign or matchmade multiplayer. It would be amazing to see some of these features brought into the Xbox version of minecraft such as a "file share" that would allow you to play on maps that others have made. I know it would cost more to have a server that hosts files, but the result would be limitless. As an owner of both copies of the game(Xbox and PC) I know how truly great the game is, my favorite aspect of the game is being able to search and find a great map or world I can play with my friends. My friends love playing these as much as playing vanilla survival or a creative world. The game was supposed to be open and nonobjective based, but many people still want an objective or something to do when they aren't quite sure what else to do. Every custom map is different(for the most part) so It would be like 1,000,000 games into one. Which the PC version already is. This is my suggestion on how the game could be made more interesting and engaging for everyone, so I hope that you think about adding this into the game.
I completely agree with what your saying. It was a good speach, but like Phoenix said, this is redundant and will probably get closed.
And I think that there are a lot of things from halo that could be added to minecraft to spice things up (Like all of those firefight options, where you can adjust spawn rates and health)
Yes this has been suggested before but many of the other forums did not follow the guidelines for a good suggestion so I thought I would bring this up again so that it would be easier to understand.:)

Too bad this has been suggested before, thus making this topic redundant.
Stay fluffy~
