Music: You want Skyrim music in Natural textures. The music was made for its specific texture pack and should stay as such. If you want Skyrim music, the entire soundtrack is located on YouTube.

I.. can see the idea for the ones we own... but that can all be done before you load up a world and you can see your texture packs right there. so.... I don't see this use for this idea.

No, you can't... you can't play your game with the Skyrim background music, the Mass Effect user interface, and the Fantasy Texture Pack all at the same time in a single game session... Currently it is all or nothing when you select a MP or TP.

yeah i agree. personally i believe if there was an option, it would be a breach of contract between 4j and who authorizes the use of said mp or soundtrack. it would probably have to be approved and simply its just not worth the paperwork and not to mention re-programming.

This is most likely the issue.... or something close to it. It would be unusual for the creators of that music and artwork in the original game to just "blanket license" 4J to allow it to be used everywhere in Minecraft. Possibly also, the creators of the original ME and Skyrim games get some sort of royalty when the packs are sold.

Non-issue... a user wouldn't be able to use them inside their own games (and be able to save) unless those packs were purchased in the first place anyway. That part would work like it does now when you use a whole TP or MP. the users will still need to purchase the packs in order to use them in this manner, so it would not negatively impact their 'royalties' (if any), in fact, it could really only improve sales of TP's/MP's, so the only outcome possible is either no change or an increase in overall revenues all around.

This could be an issue for some companies, but I think if they consider the bottom line in an expected overall improvement in sales and royalties, I believe in most cases they would allow it.

Still depends on how the contracts were drawn up in the first place. I doubt that, at between $1 and $5 a pack, they are going to put a whole lot of effort and expense into negotiating and renegotiating the terms.
Perhaps they could come up with a separate "music pack" that would allow selection of individual songs of various types instead of using 20 songs in a montage (like the MUPs do).
-A setting to play the soundtrack from mashups such as the Skyrim mashup without having to use the Skyrim texture pack.
-A setting that will allow us to create our own custom texture packs for blocks, enemies and villagers with the texture packs we already own.

Stay fluffy~

I know............
Why does it matter?
I'm not telling you how to chat in forums... so get off my case please...
As for the texture idea, I like it, but it has been suggested as well.
