I am not a judge, I am looking at some factors so I can see if the idea catches my interest and if it supports my idea. I wasn't sure on "Stays on topic" I'll change it to a five, if it pleases you. By looking at the data, you can already realize what you need to improve. If you do not realize, look at the data and figure it out. I cannot reply to you again because I have reached the limit of my posts.
Oh yeah, I remember when I used to have a limit on my posting.
I like this idea and it would need to be fully thought of in every detail so it would be completely fair and not over powered. I got an idea of adding lead to make the musket balls and other ammunition for the musket and flintlock pistol. Lead could be a little less rare than diamonds but more rare than redstone. You could smelt the lead into lead ingots and craft them into the ammunition. Other uses for lead could be lead weapons, lead armor, as a dye, or maybe even they could add a melting machine that melts ingots into liquid and doing that with lead and putting that liquid lead into a glass bottle or bucket, you could put small amounts of it on blocks that you built with to make them harder to break, unburnable, unexplodable, and you could put it on doors to make them not open to anyone but you. Lead could possibly be added if this idea for more weapons is confirmed. Like this post so people will notice it.
If they were to add lead for this purpose, they would have to make it renewable.
Yes but if they were to add the melting machine it would melt each ingot or ore and it would make a lot of liquid lead. One ingot or ore could equal enough liquid lead to cover 100 blocks maybe. Or they could just make it very abundant like coal.

Ok, lead armor and weapons would be kind of cool besides the fact that in real life you would have so much lead poisoning it wouldn't even be funny. The infusing blocks with lead could also have it's uses but I think that only certain blocks should be infuseable, such as stone bricks, regular bricks, regular stone, hardened clay, just general hard blocks. Not stuff like wood because that would just not make sense. Wooden planks I'm kind of iffey on. I don't think that the melting machine would work very well but have the lead ore be about as rare as gold but generate in larger ore veins at a little lower than iron level. Instead of making it renewable how about a new generated structure? Maybe something like a lead fort where the outer walls are made of lead blocks or instead of that just have a regular fort that was made with the lead lined stone bricks and when you break them it drops a lead nugget and the block. Have them spawn very rarely and some pretty good protection. Maybe they have an underground armory with enchanted books, muskets, flintlock pistols, a couple iron swords, the rare diamond sword, bows, crossbows, pretty much everything from this thread. That would be impressive and a really great find.

Oh hey. Looks like you're reading my signature. That's nice. If you thought I was going to put something funny here, I'm not. I will however put a link to my suggestion about gold tools. I think it's fairly popular. It would be nice if it was added. Just click the link and look at it. Please? I'm desperate. http://www.minecraft...-arent-useless/
Your followup stats are totally bogus, they have absolutely no basis in reality and appear to be just made up at your whim. I would hazard to guess that the rest of your stats are similarly biased to your opinion and have no basis in statistical fact whatsoever. You might have had me if you were more reasonably fair with your stats, something more like this would have been more plausible:
But we can act as though 62 pages of good thought and discussion went into our ideas.
...and every singe worthwhile contribution to this suggestion/discussion ends up being buried in a mountain of dross and worthless commentary.... virtually guaranteeing that those insights will very likely never again see the light of day....

It's very annoying. They should remove it.
We just rack up those pages.
Nobody has time to read 62 pages of this dribble.
I agree lol
^^^^ Click it! You know you want to...
Hehehe.
But it shouldn't be rarer than gold.P.S other good uses for lead, plumbing (although copper might be healthier), protective paints?
