They could have something like a kill the witch quest.
Where a witches hut randomly spawns when you are given the quest just outside of town.
Go out and kill witch to get profit.
Spawning a witch to kill, fine... but spawning a hut mid game... not so cool, I've already gotten a lot of grief whenever I even suggested an option to make somewhat random or program arbitrary changes to the landscape to accomodate for future TU updates.
I dunno, but I do know being an archer takes godamn skill.
As it should in my opinion.
Often I'm good enough with a sword to kill a guy with an axe in medium armour as a lightly armoured archer.
But still, the game is ruined by the HEADSHOT!!!, YORK IS WINNING!, people killing fully armoured soldiers with a rake.
I kind of like however, that some people chose to use just a wooden staff, as broken as it was damage wise it was kind of cool to see people standing a chance even with such great diversity.
He was really good though.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
Keeping on the rpg idea, what about pickpocketing?
You could steal from NPC's of from other players, with a chance for a flashing red hand icon on something with chances depending on what they tried to steal?
I think the chances of any of this stuff getting into XB version is slim enough that we should try get a PC Modder to help us Radioactive.

Pickpocketing would be problematic to implement and is not really in the 'spirit' of the game, IMO.
Remember that MC is not about making it more RPG-like, but rather to remain being a sandbox world build type game with some survival aspects to it.
The variety of new weapons and such would be relatively easy to implement, doing something radically different would require some revamping of the existing code in order to implement.
Plus, implementing stealing from other players would only encourage griefers more, and IMO takes away from the community aspect that exists in many games.

The only factor in combat at the moment seems to be lag.
Holding a massive claymore above your head as you charge towards a lightly armoured archer.
I like it, but I think I would have to buy chivalry if anything.
The war of the roses seems very very quiet.
As it should in my opinion.

I'm a real boy.
...and well more than half of it is inane chatter unrelated to the original topic...
^ a confession.
More of an observation.... I've given up trying to stay wholly on topic in this thread awhile back. When in Rome and all that.
When I have something relevant to the topic thread... I'll add it, I don't have anything much to add at this point.
