I've seen a staff mod with fireballs coming out of it! That could be used as magic!
I like everything so far it sounds pretty cool and would make me want to play survival again!

I would love enchantable staffs.
Fire could be like blaze fireballs, but be quite short ranged for balance and anti griefing.
Frost could be like super snowball spam and possibly freeze mobs in block of ice.
Water staff could spawn a single water source block at a distance, great for scaling cliffs and putting out fires quickly, in snow biomes may freeze mobs in block of ice in rare occasions.
Air staff might push mobs away and when pointed directly at the ground propels players upwards.
When unenchanted the staff could also act as an efficient melee weapon holding down blocking and range with the exception of doin any descent damage.
Crafting recipe would be 3 sticks then an eye of Ender ontop followed by a costly enchantment.
Late game stuff.

For pointy wizard shoes.
Wizard hat would have a base enchantment of so much as would all others, but wizard hat should be the most.
You can enchant paper into scrolls as cheap stackable, one time use spells.
I'm thinking though that a lot of wizard stuff should spawn in chests because as in lord of the rings the wizards are wise explorers.
Not humble craftsmen.
Magic should have cool particle effects.
Change weather spell for advanced magicians, aswell as a command lightning bolt when its raining.
So you can call down a literal storm upon your enemies.
Imagine perched high on a cliff above your enemies encampment chanting ancient words as clouds roll in and thunder rumbles around.
Throw a punch in the direction of a scout gawking in disbelief and let him be struck by a damaging 8 hearts lighting damage.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
When I had upgraded the GPU from an integrated crap to amd radeon hd 6450, if my minecraft fps was any lower than constant 50, I would have thrown the frigging thing out the window.

I don't think GPU will have a large affect on your FPS in minecraft...
Maybe it will.

Oh trust me, it will. I went from low 20's on low settings to 40-60 on high settings. That old CPU inside my rig has to be upgraded too, but that upgrade would be really expensive. I don't know why CPU's are so expensive. A core 2 duo to replace my Pentium D would be around 50 dollars, when I spent 30 dollars on my GPU. Have you heard about how crappy Pentium D's are? They drink power, they get hot enough to cook popcorn, and they are also relatively slow. A 2.0 ghz core 2 duo would be better than my 3.4 ghz Pentium D.

You get what you pay for, I play Arma 3 for five hours straight and my rigs barely warmer than the fridge.
My brothers laptop use to last about 2 hrs before overheating with skyrim on medium settings.

It won't cost hundreds of dollars to upgrade the CPU, but it will cost around fifty dollars to upgrade it.
You still gotta think if buying cheaper parts is worth it.
Or you could save up for more expensive parts.
The first computer my brother bought had a monster mother board.
Then he cut costs on everything else.
The laptop ran better than all its bad specs.
A 2000 dollar laptop better than a 900 desktop.
Significantly better if I may add.
It's best to keep your specs all level.
Not have one component way better than everything else.

All of my parts are meh except my cpu which is bad. It still runs tf2 and minecraft better than my friends 400 dollar desktop. Also, my friends 1000 dollar laptop is better than my 200 dollar desktop but not 800 dollars better. When i went to my friends house i brought my desktop and the friend with the 400 dollar desktop also brought his, and he was dazed by how much better mine was. He spent an hour playing tf2 on mine while the rest of us played xbox.Notice how if the staff see this, they will give us both suspensions?

We have gone OffTopic just a little bit.
You must be good at picking parts.

Well then go play on hard. I have been overwhelmed many timmes with an enchanted diamond sword. Wait! Do you wear armor? I do not wear armor for monster fighting, only PVP. With muskets, they would need to be better than bows because they suck. They have a nasty habit of bouncing off the target mob, and that can be life costly. Go play on hard with four zombie pigmen right there with no armor, you will see what I mean.
What the hell are you doing fighting mobs with no armor! And the bow bouncing is generally not intended.
Back to your idea, I think minecraft could use a few more weapons, but you've gone too far. You've instead made a "let's make minecraft into every mmo ever with crossbows and muskets and axes and dildos!" (No offense)
I am pretty sure that if you shot a flint arrow at metallic armor, it will bounce off, leaving the victim completely unharmed. It is suddenly a crime to want players to be able to completely change up how they do pvp, and not be at a complete disadvantage? Also, armor is a complete waste of precious resources. It costs almost three diamond blocks to make but a single suit of armor. Argument invalid. Is that all you have to throw at this topic? I have yet to see a single valid argument. There is simply no reason as to why these things should not be added, no matter how hard anyone that despises the idea can think. There is absolutely no reason why this stuff should not be added, or is not currently in the game.

Other than people wanting an incredibly simplified combat system.
Its still pretty simple aswell.
The all round benchmark could be the sword.
Anything better than that without more materials required is OP.

Yeah, bloodyphoenix, you said you hate this topic a long time ago, last, you probably remember that too. It wasn't even this topic that he said that on. Show yourself if you happen to read this, and explain your reasoning. If you don't, then either you didn't see it, or you don't have any good reasoning.
Yeah! Let the war rage on!Lets grab a musket and battleaxe while everyone else picks up identical bows and swords. Also, random question. Did you click on my egg?
