Vikings that arrive by ship to plunder your land!
I would like to have intelligent human AI where there would be a couple factions that spawn out of the way and you may choose to try and settle with them or start wars.
AI that don't forget but can forgive.
That way we can have AI close to an even match for a player, so we can have proper wars that aren't just 4 v 4 instead 8 v 15 or 8+20 v 30
They would grow in power untill they have full iron and occasionally a rare bit of diamond.
Carry a plethora of different weapons and apply strategy to fighting.

somehow I don't see that happening on the xbox 360 edition...O_o that might end up taking too much processing power, or rather take up about as much as multiplayer would and escalate from there. Multiplayer at the moment is not so great in that respect...
I do however see it possible on something like the new systems coming out late this year. sadly it is true enough...
This would be nice, but might be more of an option that you could toggle.. or a different mode all together..

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
somehow I don't see that happening on the xbox 360 edition...O_o that might end up taking too much processing power, or rather take up about as much as multiplayer would and escalate from there. Multiplayer at the moment is not so great in that respect...
I do however see it possible on something like the new systems coming out late this year. sadly it is true enough...

A sort of conquest mode.
Maybe you could be a commander in a new land, arriving in a storm ravaged ship stuck stationary upon the shore.
From the remaining supplies on the ship you must build a place of shelter for your crew, build tools to set out into the wilderness and gather new supplies fighting the oppressive natives as you go.
Their knowledge only goes so far and their equipment will diversify as yours does.
The catch of this mode is that you have people to help you defend as collect supplies but you yourself must keep them well equipped with the supplies they bring you.
If they could completely change up the gameplay in a mash up pack like that it would be cool.
But yea unlikely, damn you xbox obsolete360

we can probably expect a simple ai, but nothing as elaborate... lol
reminds me of the anno series of games in a way... but with a bit more complexity due to every block can be modified... Conquest mode... hmm.. that actually sounds like a good name to call it, since that is basically what it roughly is about. Not just mere survival but more interactive survival that you have to manage something other than your own resources... The upkeep of the crew would be especially a tricky ai to handle within the limitations.

In this case it would be refering to the very limitation of the xbox, where as the complexity or ai would be that it is possible and well within reason. I could see it happening as I said, just not on such a complex level...:D

Yeah is what I mentioned... xbox one more likely would be able to handle something like that... but 360... eh... i wouldn't think with the usage as it is right now it would function as intended...>< something like that...

I figured out how haters operate on the forums. "I don't want (Suggestion topic is trying to suggest) because we already have (Something that is already in the game that is less advanced and doesn't serve the purpose as well) because I want the game to be as boring as possible for everyone that plays it."
I think it is more varied than that... but that is what it seems like... However boredom is conjecture, I think. Not sure that is the right word for that, as what I mean is that boring is different for each individual, as well the cause.
Might be they can't get in their head that pc vs. console are two different versions of the game and are separate from each other, it could be the want to rise out of something, could be to just complain because they don't like it, could be they don't understand the idea fully (even though this one is really fleshed out), could be they refuse to read all of it to get an idea and just jump into the frey... There are many possibilities on that note. I think I just made a run on sentence...><
Anyway if they can't come up with a feasible deduction to support or deny such then that idea will live longer or shorter by that basis.:D

I just want the devs to bring some frigging life to the game.
According to bloodyphoenix, I have the ability to throw all the negativity I possibly can at anyone who hates on the topic for no reason at all, so heed that warning. Anyways, on topic, I feel this is a well balanced idea that would not be too hard to add to the game. The pros would be to allow the ability to change up the way you go about your fights with mobs and other players, considering that enchantments are the most customizable it is now, and you can't even control what you get. With this update, you would be able to choose from a wide variety of melee weapons and a few shooting weapons. You could use a hammer, an axe, a sword, etc, and for shooting, you could use a bow, a crossbow, or a musket/blunderbuss. See? some variety. A con of this suggestion would be that it makes the game more like an RPG game. Well, actually, that might not be a con for some people. I personally feel that if minecraft took some basic pieces that make up RPG games, it would be the perfect game. But that is just me. Some might think that is a con, some a pro. It is up to you.

I do plan on getting the xbox one, but it might be a we bit latter that I end up with one, if at all. Could say the same on ps4, but whom is to say...
