That wouldn't work because there is a severe bug where the mob despawns as soon as it kills you, so it would take your stuff then despawn.
like you said ITS A BUG so when they add this this bug will be fixed

That is not a true bug, as it depends on where you would spawn. If your spawn is across the map, of course it will despawn. I mean there is a limit to which mobs will despawn within a radius that is determined by each individual character...

Actually a skeleton killed me right outside my house, went there, and it was gone without a trace, as if it was never there.

hmm... could only make me think that it was imbedded into the coding.... but once you die I would think it might have calculated its' movement since you spawned again.. So could be a chance that it would despawn in that time. But that is from a programming stand point no matter how close one is. Of course that point of reference when you die might not be made from where you last set your spawn, but where the initial spawn actually is. All it takes to calculate is 32 blocks or so... beyond the 24 I think or even within it still has a chance to despawn. In a way it is still a pretty complex way to code it, yet look very simple to the viewer.
This is all a guess so it could still be a bug, but what the real question is, how do creatures/mobs despawn on the xbox edition. Since all this is programmed in a different language than that of the pc it stands to reason that certain things are a bit different even in the programming... it is like the languages in the world where as one word may mean one thing in one language but be totally something different in another. It is true that all languages have their roots, but each language has to go through a translator at some point to get that root to comply with the thing it is programed for. Translation can vary as you can see in today's spoken languages...

I'd like to see catapults and or trebuchets as well for ammo they could launch any solid block
They could perhaps even launch players animals and mobs could you imagine getting killed by a flying pig
i would laugh to see "senzubean was killed by flying pig"
btw this is only part of my gt so dont go spamming some random person who has the gt senzubean

Just think raining cats and dogs when jungles come about with ocelets...lol
As to the person you quoted catapults and trebuchets would be an interesting idea, it could be made in the similar way that golems are made. As in laying the blocks down to form the bigger picture, and then top off with a certain object to cause it to become those. Although I think you wouldn't be able to move them... As the trebuchets is usually pretty big. Unless they made a new mob type, "siege". That way it could have its' own properties tagged with it, and be somewhat a mob entity... Well it is an idea anyway...:D

Seeing "BLACKBIRD 274 was killed by raining sheep would be funny. Now that I think about it, I should have called this topic, "This is Sparta!" rather than calling it "There shall be WAR!" Also, there should be traps that would be used to kill things, like bear traps. If you step on it, you should lose five hearts, and it should say, escape left trigger. Set up a bunch of them, and walk away, come back, and there are tons of wounded mobs, or a trap with wool blocks and pork chops all around it.

traps... unsure of those kind but maybe defensive traps like instead of using cactus at the bottom of a 3x3 pit, why not have spikes. Like so we can place it down a 1x1 hole or any size lining the bottom with spikes. Think trap doors that drop you down into a pit full of those, now that would be interesting. Well it is at least one thought to a type of trap. --_--

overwhelmed ??, i cant remember the last time i died and only ever play on hard, i find the game way to easy, hard is no where near hard enough, even at the blaze spawner i take all my armor off to save it, only my potion and sword and some bread rolls are with me
im so annoyed those annoying KIDS who think guns should go in minecraft. anyone who think guns should be in minecraft is a kid

First off, not rocket launchers and assault rifles. Muskets, they would have low durability, and costly to fire. Also, I don't have potions because it is an old world. I don't fight pigmen with armor. The only blaze attack that can remotely hurt me is the fire, and if there is not fire damage, there is not enough to kill me. Unless you hacked/modded your Minecraft, if you don't have armor you will get overwhelmed by pigmen coming from all directions. On hard, it is physically impossible to survive, and even if there is some miracle, like a ghast hits them, you are best off digging a tunnel. I play FPS games, but I feel under protected with a bow. My annoying brother just swerves and I can't hit him, even though he stole my stuff. A musket would be perfect here. Also, I don't even want to hear it if you ever went in creative mode on that save. You obviously wore armor to fight pigmen, or you don't fight pigmen. There is a severe bug where the mobs that weren't there ten seconds ago can kill you, and the bug where you can get killed by "Herobrine" in the overworld. I'm not sure what it is, it says "BLACKBIRD 274 was slain by zombie pigman" and I was in the overworld, swimming, so I didn't know what to make of it. Everyone dies every once in a while, unless you wear armor everywhere, and there is no lava to fall in.

You are saying you aren't a kid if you don't want guns in Minecraft? I don't see the logic in that. In my country, anyone under 18 is a kid. Poor English btw. I had to fix multiple errors in your quote to make it look better.
