Hello my fellow minecrafters, i have purchased all the minecraft texture packs. I am pleased to say that i enjoy all of them, but some of them have cons.

I would like to have a minecraft texture pack where we can pick the texture from the different texture packs we use

This would be a very neat feature as it would encourage more people to buy a variety of texture packs.

For example my favorite texture pack is the city texture pack, but i am not a fan of the glass. So i select the custom Mash-Up pack and change the glass to the skyrim texture pack glass. This ability would allow us to create our own unique texture packs as on the PC. It would add a great variety to the game and i would love to see this. I would gladly pay for another texture pack if this was an option.

It would allow much more creativity in worlds making it a smaller possibility for players worlds to look alike.

I thought about maybe having a gui that let's you pick the block you want to swap,you can scroll through the texture packs you have purchased and 'swap' the texture with the one you don't like as much eg.swapping minecraft texture pack blue wool with the skyrim texture pack blue wool. The only problem I have with this is that how many different 'custom' texture packs you can have . Anyway I support.

This is a great idea. I like the GUI feature.

Would this feature were if you had the trial version of the texture packs, or would you need the full version? I only have trial versions of texture packs.

Already suggested...multiple times.

While this has been suggested a few times... I support. I'm not entirely sure how much I would use it.. But I would switch the glowstone from the Natural Pack with the City Pack.

The glowstone in the City Pack makes no sense... Yellow dust......White block?

I'd switch that.. and.... maybe the glass for sure too. I'm not entirely sure which I would switch around but I'd probably do some

I agree but how many custom texture packs could you save? And I'm assuming that if you want to save your world or play on someone else's world you would have to have all the texture packs that you included in the conglomeration? Other than that, it's a pretty good idea but I think it's been suggested a few times before...

Yeah it has. But it's fine.. Unlike the Moderators here.. I'm not going to throw knives for same suggestions. Unless it's something that has literally been suggested like 50x

Agreed. As long as it hasn't been suggested to death, like quests or golden golems.

This is like the new "I Suggest custom skin maker!" with less attention.
I Couldn't care less, honestly. The suggestion overall sounds like a shot in the dark. Not saying its a bad idea, just doesn't seem like a BIG enough implement to matter really. I Mean, most of this thread was carried on by 2 people having an off-topic discussion, meh. None the less I personally don't like the idea, but I can easily see other people liking it.

This would be fairly good for map makers and such, even though it is insanely hard to make an adventure map on the 360 Version. Also, I don't think a custom skin maker will ever happen for the same reasons 4J can't release a Mario Skin Pack or a God of War skin pack, copyright issues. I think this would be fine though because it would just be taking the resources 4J has put into the game already and then re-using them.

Yeah, I know. But I could only find like one or two threads about this and that was quite a while ago, when texture packs first came out.
