Here's the Bottom-Line: If the ability to turn animals' sounds off was going to be added into an update, I would be acting like I would if I were 5 years old on Christmas.

HAHA.
Well, I'd say their behaviour is just as annoying.. Like.. why do they have to be fixated on fences and rail? Why do they have to be ONLY where you happen to be building? If they just wandered the earth wherever, etc... but there's so many things you could try to add to "fix them" that you may as well just make the option to turn them off.. which.. as you can clearly see I strongly strongly wish for lol
Full support!, would most likely only use this on creative mode.. like you said they are pointless in creative and just get in your way
Even just the animals themselves you could have by opening up the menu, cause you have the spawn eggs. So even if you had that option off, I can't see why you couldn't have the ability to still use spawn eggs if you want.
But knowing Minecraft somehow.. they couldn't do that because the programming would somehow get confused...
I somehow doubt that.. But I dunno.
I enjoy this place.. But I just hope that 4J does somewhat look at these places. I mean, it's not like 4J can just sit in their offices and go "hmm.. what should we add?"
"I hear there's forums that have ideas from the fans.."
"Nah they don't create games so I doubt they have any ideas"
"Yeah you're probably right."
I mean surely they must get some ideas from the fans. I doubt they really do any really good testing before they release it. Cause if they did there wouldn't be so many issues every time an update comes out.
I completely agree with all of this. I don't really use creative all that often, but something should still be done with all the animals.. I like to play on survival, and I moved from pc to the 360 around the time when the pc version had done away with animal respawns. I think thats how it should be on the xbox as well. If you're clumsy enough to kill every single animal o An your map, then you should suffer the consequences. My favorite thing about minecraft is the fact that you have to manage your resources. Cut down a tree, plant a sapling. destroy wheat, replant. Animals should be no different. And when I have a bunch of animals organized in different pens, the last thing I want is a freaking sheep randomly spawning in my pig pen.. So 4J give us several options: Disable animals all together for the creative players, and disable respawns for the survivalists out there! PLEASE!

I can agree with that.
Cause in Creative Mode, the way I get rid of animals is to dig a hole in the ground.. make it about 13x13 so there's a middle point. Make a small tower in the middle part put a border around it, put water on the top and use an egg and spawn whatever animal I can in there and just keep pressing that damn button until it says that it's at max. Maybe the water does something that makes them stay in there but it works. Every once in a while though I need to kill a pig or two or a sheep or whatever that's outside the hole in some spot in the world and put the equivalent into the hole again.
Tip if you do it though, I hope you play with sound off when you go near that hole. Haha.
Unfortunately though it does still have to be where the players often are. Cause I tried putting that hole across the map and coming back but when I came back every single animal was back in the city I made being a $%^t disturber. So.. I'm assuming it has to be within where players actually play
I wish we could do that too, slimes me off also too and especially in creative mode when I am building I have to replace a block that I am using to build with in my hot bar and replace it with a diamond sword so I can kill the damn thing
Well, slimes only apply if it isn't on peaceful... I mean unless you do creative on easy/normal/hard

This is a great idea.
Even my parents say the cows are "moo-ing" all day. It's very annoying. When you host a creative mode server, animals should only appear if you spawn them with a spawn egg.

NEED TO DIE!

That's good.

Boy do they ever.

Click this to see if you can decode the sentence above: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ROT13
what do you mean?
This is for the PC version. The Xbox does not have commands yet, so this would not work.
^^^^ Click it! You know you want to...
So.. yeah.
That's just as good I think.
I'd use that.
Cows would be banned forever. Same with Sheep.
Pigs and to a lesser extent chickens could stay
