Maybe they could be tameable.
If you manage to accedently light one on fire while burning a few trees and luckily have a water bucket you can put him out and he will shyly follow you going in and out of tree mode protecting you from hostile mobs and players.
i wasnt talking about minecraft trees on fire. i was talking about lighting irl trees on fire because of those random minecraft treeslol it is far fetched

This would be cool. why no unicorns? and they should add volcano biomes. and polar biomes too.
In my mind horses would look strange simply because I can't imagine them with straight legs and leg joints don't seem to happen in minecraft.
Don't get me wrong I love horses. if you've seen red dead redemption horses they're crazy relistic. ( one of the main reasons AC3 was disappointing )
Horses have a lot of character that I don't think could be simulated well in minecraft well, but dogs worked well enough.
Maybe Im wrong.

I actually kinda figured unicorns would be a bit redundant with pegasi running around. however if horses and pegasi are added unicorns could be a viable cross breed.
I'd then argue that Unicorns can't, themselves, breed harkening back to Mules, which are half conkey half horse hybrids that also cannot breed. This would also work as an explanation as to why you don't find any in the real world! lol
This could be a harder-than-hard difficulty. With the more advanced stuff being thrown at you, the game would be exciting and challenging for a change. The more advanced things should have more advanced attack patterns like the ender dragon. I would like to see fights between these mobs too. I would like ghosts, which would fit, and they should haunt dungeons and mineshafts. Maybe appear for a second or two, maybe throw things at you, maybe created fake mobs, like a zombie goes up to you and it melts and becomes a ghostly being to scare you. Sorry for bumping the thread, I just had so much to add to it.
Ghosts haunting mineshaft would be pretty cool.
They should be kill able with something though they should hate light.
And once they are killed NPC'S miners could inhabit the mine???

i kinda like that idea. it would be nice to see villagers in mine shafts and i have always wanted npc ghost in the mines. maby light kills them. kinda like when skeleton's go in the sun exept just one torch can start damaging them.

Torches seem too easy I was hoping they'd be more of a boss that would be keeping the villagers / dwarfs out.
They'd have to be strong so your really in trouble if he gets you in the dark.
I was just hoping you would be safe in the light, then maybe it could break your torches.
What do you think about a probable model? I was thinking one of those weeping ghosts in a wedding dress making echoing cries through the mines. This would make the uncleared mine a very eerie place.

Torches seem too easy I was hoping they'd be more of a boss that would be keeping the villagers / dwarfs out.
They'd have to be strong so your really in trouble if he gets you in the dark.
I was just hoping you would be safe in the light, then maybe it could break your torches.

i dont really like the sounds of a ghost boss. i think they should be in the mob classes. when in the dark you cannot damage them but when in the light they are damagable

I want to see disturbing things in the strongholds cells.
That tell you why they can never rest.
i didnt actually like radioactives idea of ghost in strongholds until you said that. minecraft does need some back story. why does it have so many rooms. and what happened in those rooms

sounds good. like after being in the light for 10 seconds or so without being hit they can break torches. but there has to be something that spawns them (ghost spawner) because for the people who dont want torches to be broken the need a way to get rid of ghosts perminently
