I think it would be interesting to add tribal villages. These villages would be inhabited by hostile primitive mobs that attack the player with bows or swords based on which version spawns.
They would only spawn in an area around the primitive village/ cave village. (32 blocks)
They would attack hostile mobs and drop stone tools or apples on death.
Village would be in a cave or made out of dirt huts.
Each tribesman would have 20 health and attack on sight but not be like zombie pig men.
Could have tamed dogs (1/200 chance to spawn with one)

I actually like the idea. But when you said "that attack the player with bows or swords based on which version spawns," can you explain the different versions? Maybe their can be swordsman and stuff.
I was Envisioning 2 types of mobs, an archer and a swordsman. One of them would have a chance to spawn every 20 seconds so they would populate more during the day because the undead mobs don't spawn then.
Maybe add the hid indoors mechanic so they are not causing too much mayhem at night and getting obliterated by creepers.
They could also drop leather armor dyed random colors. And as stated above stone tools and apple.

If they're like a hostile villager thing, could they have rare emerald drops? Then they'd be a little more valuable to farm. It'd have to be a rare drop like iron ingots from zombies unless the enemies were harder though.

I love the idea of different villages like this but there would have to be a reason to invade the village. Regular villages are friendly and they have food and the possibility of things such as iron armor or diamonds. This village wouldn't have a reason to go to unless they were on some land you wanted. They are hostile so they fight back. So i think they should have a better reason to be there Also do they infinitely spawn? Or if you break their house they stop spawning? If you place water around their village will they still spawn in the water or not? You need more detail in this topic.
I stand by my neutral unless attacked because most natives are or were peaceful until provoked.
The village could have a witch doctor hut with brewing supplies/ potions.
Their limit would be 15-20 and they would start with 5-10 based on the amount of huts. They reproduce every 2 days per couple.
Their spawn would only be once and could be on any block that a player could spawn on.
Dyed armor would be a great drop too.
Perhaps if you feed them cookies (like taming dogs) they will become friendly and attack things that attack you, but don't follow you. That would be an incentive to visit and not kill them.

But after coming in here.. I actually would like this. I love exploring in this game.. and for me, to have more of a reason to explore.. would be just awesome.

I will guarantee you that 4J will not be removing any features from this game so please asking for things like no more TNT and removing already existing features.
