Nooo! We don't need more types of armor and tools! And I don't want the underground filled up with a whole bunch of useless junk for 10 tiers or armor! We have good enough tools right now, I say leave it as it is. If we do have new ores, they should ONLY be used in trading. Some ores could be worth more than others, and that's only reason I would want to see them in game. And like someone else suggested, the items should ONLY spawn in certain biomes. Like some blue gem in oceans, and something red in deserts. No more new armor types
I really have no hope in 4J ever seeing, nor considering implementing anything for the 360, so I'm really not going to waste my time making any suggestions that people will deliberately attempt to shoot down even if they support it on the inside.
Then why 'waste your time' trashing people and their ideas, and their 'lack of detail' and the works... Or even being in these threads at all if it clearly doesn't give you enjoyment? It's very far and in between I ever see you give something that would resemble a compliment on a thread or what someone has said cause to me it doesn't seem like you enjoy being here at all

People LOVED your thread (if you've ever created one besides that) about wishing people would fulfill your need to have everything be full in detail, and have no flexibility within the thread rules and do everything EXACTLY as the rules have posted otherwise it doesn't count... since people gave you like... +12 last I checked on it.
I still haven't seen any convincing reason to add new metal ores. My position remains that the addition of new weapon / armor tiers will throw off the current balance.

There's already a clear understanding of how well things work, their durability etc are without needing more.
If there was and more real metals...... I'm more inclined to think that... it would be better suited for Creative Mode.
The maps are too small to just cram all this new stuff into one small world.
Perhaps in the xbox one worlds with their worlds that are about 3x as big (as was told by a friend but never bothered to really look into it)

They could make some of the ores creative only. For you to add ex.Survival Islands maps You could see different and more types of building ideas opened up if more ores were added.... If not added in survival why not add only in creative then if its to much to put in survival.

And storage block is for all ores so it's not anything new or unique.

The worlds do have a lot of stuff... But... I'm mixed in opinion whether the worlds are too small and would then have too much to harvest or not.
Unless more ores had specific uses (example say tin is how you make a bucket instead of iron)
Hmm... I'm not sure about Emerald Armour... But... I think there has to be other uses for it than maybe just trading and decoration.
^ Agreed emeralds don't have many uses.
