Hello all of you minecraft forumers. Today I want to bring to your attention to an update or implementation that could potentially revolutionize minecraft. If you are a person who plays minecraft and love redstone or even get board of caving and building wood and cobblestone houses then I encourage you to read through this. Have you ever played FTB or maybe even seen it payed by the mindcrack crew or some other youtuber then you should know how much more it adds into the the game and how the game gets more technical.
Here is a bit of background knowledge on FTB: http://ftbwiki.org/Feed_The_Beast_Wiki
I decided that there was so much that goes into FTB that I would have to just put the URL in here (yes it is just that amazing).
I personally think that if FTB was added into mineccraft as an update would be great but I don't think that would be possible because to recreate the modpack and send it in to be made as an update takes a lot of money. So I think that if this was added into Xbox edition (Xbox 360 & Xbox One) it would have to be made as an Implementation that you would have to buy. This modpack would most likely cost about $10.00 - $20.00.
Pleas let me know what you think on this topic. Any criticism is welcome because im sure there would be a lot of kinks that would need to be worked out.
The thing is, Microsoft won't allow mods to be used on minecraft 360 version. Remember a while back when the giant zombie mod was all over the place? People got there accounts banned for using them. Mods like command blocks and stuff like that I see them doing for the xbox. If they were to do something like Feed The Beast, it would most likely be a mash-up pack. A created world with a storyline. Now getting it as a mash-up pack would be a little pointless but that's the only way I see them putting it on the 360

Or instead of requesting the modpack here, we can just go to the PC and play it where it should be....
True but the reason behind this is some people including myself have minecraft for xbox 360 edition because they don't have the pc version or have access to the pc version. Isn't that one of the main reasons that xbox edition was made in the first place.

If you just make it an extension of minecraft then it wouldn't be a mod it would be another game or another part of the game. Take Skyrim for example, They have the main game but they also have extensions from the main game that make the game better and longer and it also adds new things into the game.It just depends on how you would present it.
Some people who post here are not very open minded when they hear the word 'mod' and will only be able to see that word 'mod' in a person's idea and reply to it as if it was meant to be a player implemented mod regardless of what you say afterward.
I've encountered this resistance myself, and understand where you are coming from as I made a similar suggestion earlier.
You are very clearly not talking about a player/user made modification to MC. And regardless of what some people say, Microsoft's terms of Service does not forbid 4J Studios from modifying the game in any way they see fit. In fact they regularly do so in the form of Title Updates, Skin Packs, Texture Packs, and Mashup Packs.
Yes folks, a Title Update IS ACTUALLY a MOD by the technical definition. It is just a Developer made and distributed Mod.
It would be better to frame the idea in terms of what everyone in the community will understand: Developer supplied Down-Loadable Content (DLC)
