Ok so as a first post to this forum I have been playing MC360 since its original release and there were a few servers feature that I have not seen any suggestions for.
Server Menu Ideas
Have a setup to where on the menu of the server options there is a feature of a random connect to where you could join a completely random server hosted by someone else, if in the start-up of their world they had turned on a feature to enable that, similar to enabling a private game.
Have a featured server list ,where players who have decided to turn their 360 or PS3 into a server to host Minecraft console games could submit a world to 4j Studios to have a constant set of worlds such as Parkour and Hunger Games up and running, of course issues with this would be the fact that some worlds would have to be restarted, then the actual issue of managing the server.
Make the GUI of the actual server menu a separate area of the world start-up menu to allow more room for new features, such as ones previously stated.
Individual Player Privileges
Have the host of the world with a more diverse tool-set to be able to adjust the settings of each player such as being able to set invisibility, flight, exhaustion on other players not just the host (can be compiled into one option called spectator).
There could also be a feature where you could disable the ability of players or everyone to destroy or use certain blocks (for maps such as Hunger Games).
For another player specific ability you could have the host capable of assigning players "boosts" (meaning potions or extra blocks).
I would give credit for this idea but I forget who posted it, The ability to have the host in creative while others are in survival.
*Console Gamers have always lacked in the PC's wide variety of hosting/server capabilities **I do realize that many of these features are ideas that are already possible on the PC edition but I was trying to think of ways to incorporate them into a more console-friendly version. Please feel free to respond with your own ideas. ***I will try to add photos of possible menu screens to show what it could look like.
I tried to keep the suggestions in bound with guidelines of the forums meaning I tried to keep them related, if they have strayed apart please forgive me as this was my first post. Thank you
Allowing the host to go in Creative and not giving the others the same game state is a terrible idea and would allow for a lot of abuse.
From a survival standpoint, yes definitely. But some mini-games and customs like Hunger Games, Factions, or my personal D&D map, would be nice for hosts who need to organize the map without letting the players have access to creative. While in any of those it'd still have consequences if the host was corrupt, I think it'd be a good addition to customs and open up easier access for hosts.
All the other things would be good too, although I just don't think 4J would do most of them. Just a lot of work for only a few things, and they still have a lot of catch-up to play in vanilla gameplay to PC.

Most of this part of your suggestion appears to be coming in TU14... based on tweets and screenshots from 4J Studio.

I'd love the idea of a sort of "quick match" in minecraft. I'd love to just jump into a random person's world and perhaps make a new friend doing so. That part they really need to add. I don't know if it is on PC (Probably.. PC always has 50x the content) but on console they definitely do.

It's not, but I think it's something both versions should invest into.

Many of your other ideas could be separate suggestions, and some need to be explained further.
