I was hoping some of theses features would have already been out, but it seems like 4J have skipped these additions, may have just labeled them unjustified, or are still yet to be released. Here are some of them with reason why they should be ported over:
Hardcore Mode: Added to PC Minecraft in version 1.0, this gamemode makes it so if you die, your done. World get's erased from eternity. This is my favorite gamemode to Vanilla Minecraft as it adds a sense of carefulness to the game, making the player choose their choices carefully about what their next move should be.
Adventure Mode: Introduced to PC Minecraft in version 1.3.1, this gamemode makes it so the player cannot destroy most blocks in the game. Also in PC, it is used for anti griefing and adventure maps. For the Xbox 360 version, it just makes sense to add this game type because sometimes the given griefer protection options don't work in some situations. And while we don't directly have a map sharing system for gametypes, that doesn't stop us from making our own and playing with friends.
Combining not enchanted tools: This feature was in PC Minecraft since the beginning and allows you to make the use out of that pickaxe you no longer use because it was near broken. Now with a new pickaxe, you start mining but to conserve inventory slots and restore durability you combine the two tools. This feature is coming with anvils, however, to combine tools it costs experience while this costs none.
Pigs dropping 1-3/4 pork: Added to PC Minecraft in version 1.3.1, when it comes to making a farm, the cow is the leader even in the PC version. They drop leather, can be milked, and drop 1-3 beef. But later the pig, being changed from dropping 0-2 pork, was changed to dropping 1-3 pork. I still find this unbalanced because of the cow having so many more features, thus I would like to see the pig with a chance to drop 4 pieces of pork instead of the PC versions 3, as it gives a reason to farm pigs over cows.
When making a suggestion, please only suggest original ideas. Please do not suggest a feature that is already available in a current version of Minecraft.
