Have you ever noticed that when you cut down a bunch of trees in a swamp and put saplings where the stumps were, the end result is horrendous? This is because the game generates swamps with a modified version of the oak tree generation. I found a very simple fix to this. If you want your swamp biome to look like a swamp even though you got rid of all of the trees, it could be as simple as making another tree type. Willow trees could fit this just fine. Making them look sort of realistic could give swamps a creepy, gloomy feel to it. It would have its own kind of wood, and it would have its own saplings. Swamps could start naturally generating these trees in it. If they add this, it could have a swamp biome look like a swamp biome after being completely harvested.
All you have to do is silk touch some vines and place them on your trees in the swamp (or jungle). They will then grow to hang down the way the original ones do. However, I like willows and wouldn't mind willows as another variety of tree in the game.
I made them doing just that no problem.But for the sake of whatever... I say why not. While this tree is easy to make.. I'd much rather see things like Palm Tree's or maybe even a Maple or Cherry tree. But.. I'm willing to have more kinds of trees.

Seriously though, love the idea about more trees, but WTF is that about Oak trees producing Apples anyway? I'm surprised that still exists even in PC version, and I don't see why they don't just rename to Oak Trees to Apple Trees, texture them appropriately, and then add Oak Trees back in that could drop.... maybe Acorns?

Also, you have huge trees and trees that aren't as big as normal swamp trees.

I should have said I support new tree variations like short and tall, but not different types of trees like Oak, Birch, etc. Oak trees drop apples, so what is and isn't sensible in Minecraft is just personal preference imo.

Another fix could be to just make oak trees grow differently in swamp biomes.

Edit : I See It now...It'd be a pretty cool color. Blackish like color.
All with different shades of darkness, and even I guess "redness" (Jungle Tree).
Far as adding tree's, I still think just adding some other kind of tree like Palm Tree's would be better.
So kind of like a leaf block with no bottom?
