Here is a good idea for a skin editor: charge the price of a Mash-up pack, and limit the amount of skins you can make to the amount a normal skin pack has, and when you make it, you submit it to a setup where it is checked for copyrights, then boom! Afraid youll stop making money? Start putting up mods for tvs, nukes, apocalypse, etc.
HOW ABOUT DAT????
Well, for one, skin makers are not going to happen, period. It's been officially stated.
You want custom skins, then place the PC. It just got a revamp in the skin system, so go nuts.

And guess what? No mods either!
0/2, nice try.
Technically, this wasn't a MOD suggestion... it was a submit ideas to 4J directly for review/approval and distribution suggestion.
Frankly, you could do your work on a PC and just email it to them.....I really don't see a need for 4J to devote resources to develop tools/apps to do this on the XBox/console platform in particular.
How can you MAKE the skins and what "setup" do you send them to?
if ANYONE who works on xbox 360 editition sees this at all, that's for them to think up. im more trying to solve the copyright and "we need to get rich off poorly made skins"

hey at least my idea was SOMEWHAT GOOD. regarding how all ive gotten so far is ridicule...
I still say it has more to do with the fact that skins are continuing revenue to fund all the free updates we get. Copyright isn't the issue; that hasn't come up with games like Soul Calibur V that allow for much closer representations (And more offensive content for that matter)
If this doesn't get Namco sued:
Then this wouldn't either:
Unless 4J tried to sell that particular skin to us without permission. Just as if Namco sold that outfit, in those colors, to us.
I hate these threads more than any other kind of thread. I am going to stop explaining why it cannot happen.Even if they added it and you got banned if you made an explicit skin, people would get banned left and right.

I didn't offer any ridicule, I'm sorry you feel that way...
What I'd love to see them do is sell a skin editor DLC, and then packs of "parts" to color. Long hair models, different arm/leg/body parts and such. But in the long run its just more profitable for them to sell packs of premade skins.
