So far, rumors tell me that TU14 will be based upon 1.3.1 on the computer which means we get some pretty cool stuff such as emeralds and trip wires; however, there is one thing that would be easily implemented, and I think Mojang should add to the game. For anyone who has ever played Hunger Games, they know it sucks to be killed and be forced to leave the game, so my idea is to allow the host to give privileges that give other plays ability to fly and be invisible for spectator purposes in Hunger Games an other mini-games. It shouldn't be too difficult to add either considering they already have the game codes for flight, invisibity, and privileges.
No, what's being asked for is say player 3 dies, then he/she could be granted the ability to fly and such like the host.
Currently only the host can do this in Survival.

Oh right 'host privileges'. Forgot. I never have it enabled so I forget about that sometimes.
No, this way people who team up and are on parties would know what another person is doing or where they are hiding.
Or if you mean other players flying around on survival, then that's an even bigger no.

Don't support, sorry.
I understand the desire to want to observe the game to its conclusion, but in order for this to be fair in this type of scenario, several variables would have to be considered. And it would have to be a host option to turn on/allow Player Observation.
First, you would have to come back as not only invisible to other players 'in game', but you would have to be intangible as well, meaning that not only could you NOT interact with the environment, but MOBs and players would not be able to interact with you either. For this reason, gates/doors may or may not impede/restrict Observer movement.
Second, you would have to have all forms of outward communication within the game cut off from other players in the game, maybe be able to communicate with other 'ghost observers' and the host, but not the active players in the game.
Third, you would have to have a method to distinguish a ghost observer from a player. It could be that all players join the game as observers and the host has to manually toggle a player's state from observer to player in order to allow that player to interact with their environment. Such that if you die and get kicked from the game, you can rejoin, but you are reset as Observer Only (unless the host wants to put you back into the game for some reason, ie. each player gets 3 lives, etc.)
...
But now you can get into a sticky situation where Observer 1 could in theory pick up a cell phone and call Player 2 to provide inside information to give their team an edge. But you wouldn't be able to stop all forms of cheating anyway, so this might be an acceptable option.

Junokaii (although I'd recommend not adding me because I'm on literally like... once every month or two)

I wouldn't use this... But I guess if others want to use it and at least have the option to do so, then okay.
For the ability of other players to use it... Think it could be used similar to how we can just make other players moderators? Click on their name and make it available to them?
