I think we should make villagers smarter, and more useful. We should add stuff to them and modify the AI. Like, I know everyone's been looking forward to villager trading, which is cool and all, but not enough for me. They're the closest human creatures in the game and should be a little more useful. So, I was thinking that 4J add warrior villagers. Villagers that can get armor and weapons from village blacksmiths, you know, when they add the villager jobs like the PC has, they can work together. Make them kinda like zombie pigmen, if you attack a villager, the knights will attack, and also defend from zombies. Maybe they could fight creepers and skeletons too. Let them pickup loose armor or weapons like zombies and skeletons can on PC. It'd be cool to have them be able to defend artificial villages that don't have the rare GOLEM to protect them. It'd be nice to have villagers interact with the environment and maybe even the player more.
I like it, except the part of villagers attacking creepers because, I think, most of the times the creepers will blow up before they get killed and I dont want to have a moon-looking world, soo... I´d like that villagers dont attack creepers please
I don't really see a point to fighting villagers.
In the end people would end up complaining that all their villagers died fighting.
Let them hide in their homes and have Iron Golems/the player defend them--it's not that difficult.

Potholes and dead bodies everywhere.
My villagers have all mostly died anyway.... mysterious causes in the second village... they just seem to have dwindled and disappeared. In the first village, I suspect, may be partially due to the fact that my son has a nasty habit of letting creepers sneak up on him...I'm still patching holes in some of the buildings I've found...
AI for villagers would have to be better if they would survive MOBs, MOB AI is pretty basic and easy to get them attacking and fighting each other.
Villager Archers could handle creepers, while the melee types could try and distract them with hit and run tactics.
Over all, I like the idea, but I don't see it as overly feasible for consoles, it would be adding a significant amount of strain to an already strained system (at least in the XB360s case).
PSN:
Junokaii (although I'd recommend not adding me because I'm on literally like... once every month or two)

I wouldn't mind them actually being a village trying to function. (defend itself, farm, etc).
Also, just slow them down back to where they were before.. Now they act like they're on speed or something all the time and have anger issues with slamming doors. Lol.
So, I'm reluctant to say I support this.
