I'd say instead of having your own stats change due to being bitten, just make it that when ever it is a full moon normal wolves have increased abilities as mentioned.

I see that BloodyPhoenix is just asking for more detail, and probably doesn't really mean to be offensive to you. I think you may be projecting a condescending 'tone' to his text, perhaps solely based on his first question.
Granted, the first question is not worded as PC as possible, that is a common problem that a lot of, what I like to call 'straigh shooters' have. They are more focused on being brief and direct to get to the point as quickly as possible... get to the meat of the matter, if you will... that they don't "waste" time worrying about the way their wording may or may not project a certain 'tone'.
If BloodyPhoenix had instead said something like the following, I'm sure you would have found it to be much less offensive:

Yesterday I was on my way to class, when a black cat fell from the sky. I didn't really know what that nonsense was about so I asked him if I could step around him because he was bad luck, but he simply meowed and then disappeared. I was a bit worried that maybe he'd teleported to Afghanistan or somewhere equally dangerous, but a wizard came and assured me that it was alright. I threw my Zune at him because I was 78% sure he was lying. The wizard roared at me and sentenced my mother to thirty five years of chain smoking. I was sad.
I actually suggested something similar to this way back when. Except, in my idea, it was a villager who'd randomly turn into a werewolf! Either way i think it'd make for an interesting new enemy. I think I still have it linked in my sig. If i remember right their damage was based on wolf damage. I'd have to go back and reread it.

Far as I see it, you could have a detailed post with 500 things listing out every detail inside and out and he's find one that wasn't there.

Been on these forums since October 2013... I've read a lot of posts in the past 3 months where BloodyPhoenix has commented, and I have to say that I have yet to see anything to dissuade me from my original character assessment.
He's blunt, and quick to assess an idea without hearing it out entirely... but that isn't his fault if all the necessary details are not provided up front either...whereas I'll sit and fish for more information if I think an idea might be plausible...depending on the intent of the OP.
He also spent a great deal of time and effort writing up instructions/guidelines on how to make a good suggestion... which people should take some time to read before they post: http://www.minecraft...od-suggestions/

Medium: 3 hearts
Hard: 4 hearts
Effects time: From start of a full moon to the morning the wolf will have a random chance to become a Werewolf.
Buffs and debuffs:
They get a speed, jump, strength buff. After every full moon Wolves that have been affected have a slowness debuff.
