I don't know if there any other topics on this i looked but i could npt find any. I would love to see the redstone update soon. i love to make things out of redstone but some of the things are slow or dont work but they do on the pc

I'd like that... because... I would live to have things like a zipper elevator that actually work.

I'm assuming that you are refering to the PC version 1.5 Redstone Update ... and not just fixing the timing issues, chunk lag issues, lighting issues, and block update issues that prevent things like the zipper elevator from working correctly on the XB360 platform.

I too would like to see the following changes/additions:

Among the main changes are a number of new redstone-related blocks, including the comparator, hopper, dropper, daylight sensor, trapped chest, weighted pressure plates and block of redstone. A new decorative block - block of quartz, crafted from nether quartz, was also added. Also included is a scoreboard system, a new texture pack format and a lighting engine optimization.

...but I don't expect we will be seeing this for at least 3-4 more Title Updates....

I'd especially love a redstone block... so I can compact the like... 6 chests worth of redstone I have

i'd be happy with it simply for its appearance. it goes better with some things ive made. plus its a steady power system and i could super compact a lot of my circuits and creations.

Yeah that too.

It looks great, and if you do some interesting redstone dust work, you could have your house be a light show
